I can finally come up for air. 🙌🏽

It’s been one stressful month, but today I can finally breathe a little easier because he has a new school to call home.

From moving him into a dorm… to moving him right back out… to packing everything up AGAIN and relocating him to a whole different state, whew! This mama has been through it.

But through all the uncertainty, God kept making a way. What was meant to feel like a setback turned into a new opportunity, a new home, a new beginning, and another chapter in his journey.

A HUGE thank you to every coach who took the time to reach out, inquire about Jay, check on his situation, and consider him during this short recruiting period. Your calls, texts, interest, and support meant more than you know. 🤎🫶🏽🤎

Sometimes God will move you when you didn’t expect to move, but He already knows exactly where He’s taking you.

So here we are… New state. New school. New chapter. Same dream.

And now… We’re Cali-living. 🤍💙🩶

God did it. And I’m grateful. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Survived my first week with my son away at college. 🤍

The house is a little quieter. Life has slowed down just enough for me to realize that while he’s off chasing his dreams, I get the chance to rediscover mine.

Truth is, not much has changed since he’s been away… except I’m finding me again. I’m exploring what I like, pouring into myself, embracing new routines, and learning that this season is about growth for both of us.

I’ll always be his biggest cheerleader, but now it’s also time to cheer for myself.

Son… wow, Senior Night. 🖤🤍🩶💚

It feels like just yesterday you first picked up a basketball, and now we’re celebrating your last home game of your high school career. Watching you grow not just as a player, but as a young man has been the greatest blessing of my life.

I love you more than words could ever explain. You are my world. I love you, and I love how you’re shining in your own light. You don’t try to be anyone else you lead with your heart, your work ethic, and your character. You are an amazing human, an incredible son, and a selfless teammate. I am so proud of the young man you are becoming.

Congratulations on winning District tonight. First-round of playoffs is next. Keep grinding, keep believing, and keep shining.
