What a full circle moment! 🌎💫Yesterday I got to see my favorite artist and biggest inspiration. It also felt like yesterday when I was just a little girl back home glued to MTV watching his music videos and daydreaming of one day being here watching him perform. It seemed so impossible and far away. Who would’ve thought I’d go from flying across the globe from Brazil to follow my dreams to years later watching him perform homecoming right on top of it at his show in Chicago? That was special to me. To top it off standing right next to other legends I grew up listening to? But if there’s one thing I know, the universe has a funny way of synchronizing special moments for those who have faith in their dreams no matter how impossible they seem!

Long before I ever knew I’d live here, Kanye was the reason Chicago existed in my imagination. He was my introduction to the city and the reason why I always wanted to visit. There’s always been something in the air in this place. A city with so much pain and trauma but also so much beauty, talent, art and creativity. The same air that inspired creators and geniuses like Walt Disney, Frank Baum who wrote The Wizard of Oz, Kanye West and the same air that continues to inspire so many other dreamers, hustlers and invisible legends to come. I show love, stay humble and authentic in my mind because they made me safe in my second home, a city where only the strongest can survive. May you never forget how fast the world goes around, may you have the confidence to stand on top of it and may you reach for the stars so if you fall you land on a cloud, jump in the crowd, spark your lighters, wave ‘em around and if you don’t know by now I’m talkin’ about Chi Town 🌎💫🔁⚔️🔥❤️
