We got to spend a day with my fun Aunt Margie! by @chanrm
Sometimes in life you don’t make the basket, or get what you want. Life goes the opposite direction of what you thought and can throw your day off. 🥴🫠😵‍💫 But then you can refocus your energy on what can go right. And it can happen, you can make the light shine ✨ That’s what I do, even on the skyzone hoops! Basketball isn’t my game, and it’s easy to give up when you suck. But embrace it and keep trying to improve things and it will get better. You’ve just have to believe in it, or tell God to step in. I prayed a lot this morning when I had so much turbulence, that threw me off shortly but I believe things can only get better. #gratitude #basketball #fun #positivity by @chanrm
Don’t buy into the myth of the perfect moment. Use life’s imperfections as stepping stones! #makeithappen #perfectmoments by @chanrm
Well it happened, sort of unexpectedly. We took home this kitten last night. Evelyn calls him Kevin. Let’s hope it’s a boy, it’s too tiny to tell and we’re learning how to care for a kitty. Both of us. Tomorrow we see the vet, updates to come! Welcome to our zen cave kitty, don’t ruin my home. Any tips welcome, bc kitten care is brand new to me! by @chanrm
I have so much love in my life! 💗💗. Thanks to everyone who helps me grow brighter each day! ☀️ For the most part, I don’t feel like I struggle with a lot since my TBI. I’m very fortunate, but still need reminded that it did happen. It seems to feel it can be “an excuse”. But there are times I don’t understand things, I’m easily overstimulated and overwhelmed. Life is hard for all of us. Let’s take care of each other! by @chanrm
I am so thankful for this life. Daily, I get a brand new start to have the best day ever. Joy comes to me by trying things that once scared me. Like stand up paddle boarding. After my TBI almost 5 years ago, I was afraid I wouldn’t have the balance to get up. But this photo was taken tonight, right after I just paddled around the lake. The lord blessed me with this strength to shine and be bold in this life. ☀️💪🏻🙌🏻. I got another chance to live and I’m making sure I do it having the most fun and sharing it with people! What brings you joy in life? Add more of that to your days! #gratitude #blessed #peaceful by @chanrm
I am so grateful for this group! My life has only gone up since I joined @activatefitindy. I feel so happy, healthy and blessed right now! Thanks to everyone who motivates me every class! by @chanrm
You can do hard things. Trust yourself. I finally got out on my paddleboard and did some yoga and pushed myself to get a full lap around the lake. It wasn’t easy, but that’s how you grow. I saw a couple women sitting on paddleboards and they said they were watching me for inspiration. I told them to find the balance and confidence to know you can do it. The worst that could happen is we fall into water and get wet. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I can handle that. If it’s not going to hurt you, give it a try. Good things happen to those who put forth effort. I only want to get stronger and be more brave in life. The only way forward is through confidence in knowing you can. #lakelife #makeithappen #confidence #growth by @chanrm
