BURTON SE7EN 2001 - The Burton Seven in length 157 is an extraordinary piece, because every single board was handpainted with gold by @as_the_ceiling_flew_away and this one is even more outstanding because @gigiruf rocked this board in Absinthe Film’s first legendary movie Transcendence.
Another interesting detail is that the base of this board differs from the boards for sale. As requested by the 7 team member (@s4ni, @gigiruf , @narubrain , ...) Burton produced the team boards with a harder base.

BURTON SEVEN 2003 -
A truly special board from the Burton archive. This is @gigiruf personal sample of the iconic Burton Seven from 2003.
What makes it unique? Unlike the regular production model, this sample features a red eye graphic instead of the standard black eye.
Gigi rode a board like this in the snowboard movie Happy Hour, produced by Kingpin Productions.
A rare collector’s piece from a golden era of snowboarding.

Every board has its story and this one is special! BURTON SAFARI COMP l 175 from 1988.

At Christmas 2021, I met Leo from the Stubai Valley on the lift. I got talking to Leo because my daughter Antonia rides the Burton kids‘ board in the safari design. He then tells me the story that he was the guide for the Burton team on the Stubai Glacier back in the 80s, where shots were taken for commercials and films. Jake Burton was also part of the team and as a thank you, Leo received a Burton Safari 175 from Jake.
We had a great chat and at the end of the day Leo asked me if I wanted Jake’s board. Of course I couldn’t say no and the next day he brought me the board. What a move by Leo! 🙌🏼

The Burton Craig Kelly Pro model snowboard is all about the powder. With its squared off tail and floaty nose this board was made for the backcountry. Flat black top sheet with glossy graphic is really cool and the barbwire base is cool too.
