The true challenge of Schumann’s Fantasiestücke, Op. 73，first movement lies not in technique, but in restraint. Every note needs direction, and every phrase must speak. The quieter the music, the more it reveals the artistry of the performer. by @chantalbian

Compared to last year, nearly every student performed repertoire that was significantly more challenging. With greater difficulty comes more practice, more setbacks, and a greater need for patience, perseverance, and courage. What moved me most was not how perfectly they performed, but the fact that every student chose to embrace the challenge. They prepared diligently, worked through difficulties, and grew through moments of pressure and uncertainty. In the end, they stepped onto the stage with confidence and shared the results of their hard work through music. The value of studying music goes far beyond learning notes and mastering pieces. It lies in developing resilience through challenges and discovering a stronger version of oneself with every breakthrough. I am incredibly proud of every student who practiced with dedication and performed with courage. Today’s applause belongs to each and every one of you. 👏 by @chantalbian
