TAPER TERRITORY 🚩

The long run before the longest run. From Maples to KP and back was approximately 13km was aiming for 14/15 but had to stop by Dollarama before heading back home 😆. The beauty of training, being a mom and convenience beside your home haha !!

Had to stock up on our Asian pantry staples at my favourite go to Asian market @youngsmarket

The sauces, seasonings and little flavour boosters that somehow make their way into almost everything we cook. If you know, you know. From ulams to soups and even just making dippings.

POPEYES ULTRA 2026 🏃🏽‍♀️🩷💙

What a day. What an experience. 🥹

There’s something so special about watching people show up, push their limits and accomplish something that once started as just a goal. Being surrounded by that kind of determination, encouragement and community made this day feel so much bigger than just running.

A huge thank you to every volunteer, sponsor and member of the Popeyes team who helped bring this event to life. These events don’t happen without the people behind the scenes showing up, cheering people on and making sure every runner feels supported along the way. 🫶🏼

And @lurechia , I hope you know how inspiring it is watching you continuously pour so much of yourself into these events. No matter how big the goal is, you’re always there pushing, encouraging everyone around you and then somehow finding a way to push yourself even further. 50 freaking kilometres. 🥹 You set a massive goal and you DID THAT. I’m so incredibly proud of you.

To every runner who stepped onto that course, congratulations. Whether you ran one leg or the full 50K, you showed up and challenged yourself, and that deserves to be celebrated. 👏🏼

Can’t forget the most talented DJ that can run and spin at the same time @anorak.i ! Thank you keeping us hyped and dancing the whole way!

This run was also for Tatay, Papa John and Dean. 🤍 Thank you for giving us that beautiful weather for the last leg, and for always watching over us, protecting us and reminding us that you’re never too far away. I carried you with me out there.

And lastly, what a privilege it is to get to represent communities that have become such a meaningful part of my own journey. @sundaygrind__ , @nxtlvl.performance and, of course my home my family @popeyeswinnipeg 💪🏽. To be able to show up, run, cheer people on and represent all three is something I’ll never take for granted. 💙

I only ran one leg, but somehow walked away feeling like I gained so much more from the day.

Community. Gratitude. Inspiration. And one hell of a reminder that we can do hard things. 🥹

VIVA LAS KIA 🎰💖

A weekend dedicated to celebrating one of the best humans I know, and what a celebration it was!

The definition of a girls’ trip and girlhood. From the endless laughter, getting ready together, dancing the nights away, and all the little moments in between. Every bit of this trip was so special.

There’s something about being surrounded by incredible women, celebrating someone you love, and making memories you’ll be talking about for years to come.

Keeks, you deserve all the love and happiness coming your way. I’m so grateful I got to be part of this chapter with you.

A trip I wish I could replay over and over again. Here’s to the memories we made and all the beautiful ones still to come!

WHATEVER YOU HAVE AVAILABLE LASAGNA

The first meal I made in our new home! 🥹🏡

We hadn’t done a full grocery run yet, so dinner was very much a “what do we have and what can I make with it?” situation.

Our place is super cozy and wanted to feel that through our first dinner here.

Nothing fancy, nothing complicated , just using what we already had and making it work.

Mushrooms
Ground beef
2 jars @classico_sauce pasta sauce
Salt + pepper
Spinach
Ricotta
Mozzarella
Oven-ready lasagna noodles

Layer everything up and bake until the noodles are tender, the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is golden.

First home-cooked meal in the new place officially in the books.

Summer isn’t over until you’ve had a s’more ⛺️🍫

With summer slowly coming to an end, I’m definitely going to miss making these. Definitely one of my summer staples and quite possibly the easiest “recipe” I’ll ever share.

S’MORES

• 2 graham crackers
• 2–3 pieces @hersheyscanada milk chocolate or any chocolate you like
• 1 marshmallow

Toast your marshmallow over the fire until it’s as golden (or burnt 😂) as you like it, sandwich everything together and EAT IT WHILE IT’S GOOEY.

CALGARY 2026 FAMILY ROAD TRIP 🚐📍

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a family trip. Since I started my first real career in real estate back in 2018, I was on grind mode and missed so many family trips in between.

I had so much FOMO just them talking about the trips they’ve been on and places they’ve been together and memories that were made, when I finally had the opportunity to go on a trip, I did everything I could to make it happen.

This trip was so special! My dad’s first time in AB, first trip with Kaiden, Cairo’s first trip ever and after 8 years I finally got to go on a family trip and it being my own family’s first trip together to 🥹

Such a full circle moment!! Unforgettable trip. 5 days definitely was NOT enough but m grateful for the smooth long drive, seeing my family and friends in Calgary and creating the best memories ever.

To many more family vacations! 💛

Running is a little more fun when you get a change of scenery.

Ray and I went out for a morning run while we’re in Calgary. We’re staying in the NW and honestly didn’t realize how close we were to downtown! We headed down just off Centre Street, made our way toward downtown and eventually reached the river walk.

And THE VIEW. 🥹

There’s something so nice about running somewhere completely different. No usual route, just taking everything in and appreciating how beautiful a city can be when you’re seeing it on foot.

And getting to do it with Ray made this one even better. 🤍 We don’t always get to run together, so getting our training in while exploring somewhere new felt pretty special.

In 27 days… WE HAVE LETTUCE! 🥬

Seriously taking advantage of every bit of growing weather we have left! When I first tried growing lettuce at beginning of summer, our heat was just waAaAayyy too much for it. Lettuce loves cooler weather, so once the temperatures started dropping, I knew I wanted to try again.

Cairo and Tata took care of the lettuce in the garden while I tried growing another batch in planters… and clearly they won this round 😂

One thing I learned is that lettuce seeds are TINY and should be sown really shallow so they can get the light they need to germinate. In my planter, I made a trench and covered the seeds with soil. Meanwhile, the garden seeds were scattered closer to the surface and we ended up with this little lettuce bush! 🥹🌱

And eating something we grew ourselves in a sandwich?! SO fresh. 😭🥬

Safe to say lettuce is definitely something we’ll be growing often!
