Dear my little love,

Having you feels like holding a piece of my heart outside my body. Watching you grow
—clumsy steps, new words, tiny discoveries—fills me with awe and joy I didn’t know I could feel.

There are hard days, of course—tired eyes, messes, and tears— but even in those moments, there’s this deep, quiet love that never leaves.

You’re teaching me patience, presence, and how beautiful the ordinary can be. It’s humbling, holy and wild all at once.

You’re one.
Just one year in this world,
and already you’ve changed everything.
You’re full of life, stubbornness and spark.
You stumble through the world like it belongs to you.
And it does.

You’ve taught me how to slow down.
How to find joy in everything
You’ve taught me that some days will break me open—
but that love, real love,
holds through the cracks.

I miss who you were yesterday,
but I love who you are today.
And tomorrow?
I’ll fall in love all over again.
Every day with you is a letting go and a holding on.
A growing up for both of us.

Thank you for making me your mom
Thank you for your laughter,
your light,
your whole little heart.

I’ll spend the rest of my life
trying to love you as well as you love me
Thank you for choosing me.

Love always,
Mommy🤍 by @chantraro_
