Hello 👋 I just wanted to stop by and share a little bit about myself.

My name is Lauren and I’m the owner & creator behind Chaotic Good 💖 I started this business two years ago after going to some of the biggest vintage markets in Minneapolis and struggling to find femme clothing in my size. I felt like I didn’t belong in those spaces and I wanted to create something where everyone can shop and feel welcomed.

I owe a huge part of my success to the plus size community in Minneapolis that has supported me. I will always carry up to 4X in my booth and keep everything organized by size because I want shopping to feel easier and accessible to everyone.

A year ago, I quit my full time job to pursue my business full time and I was filled with anxiety, but I had a whole community of people cheering me on, especially my dad and my wonderful partner, Alex. It turns out that was the best decision I could have made for my business and my life.

When I was 19, I was diagnosed with a rare chronic illness called narcolepsy. I was always scared and worried about what kind of life I’d have and what kind of work I’d be able to do while managing this.

Having my own business gave me something I never realized how much I needed: control over my time and my energy. I can decide when I work, when I slow down, when I rest, and how I structure my days around what my body needs.

Running a business still has its challenges but I’m incredibly grateful that I could build a life where I don’t have to choose between taking care of myself and pursuing something I love. Thank you to everyone who has showed up for me and for taking the time to get to know me 💘
