20 second challenge to enhance your relationship! Hope it helps your marriage as it has been a good little nugget for mine 🙏🏽 by @chaplainmoreno

She said yes! On Sunday, September 21, 2014, I had the privilege of baptizing @estefany.marilu as she publicly confessed her commitment to Christ. Eleven years later, on Sunday, September 21, 2025 (the only other time this date fell on a Sunday), at the same spot, I asked if she would commit her life to following Christ with me—and she said yes.

Thank you, Estefany, for being such a kind and loving woman. You truly radiate the love of Jesus, and you bring so much joy and peace into my life. I’m excited to keep discovering the adventures God has for us and to allow Him to use our story to bring hope and healing to others. I love you Mamacita! Thank you @moreno.creative and @moments_of_gabriel for capturing the moment. by @chaplainmoreno

The Holy Spirit moved powerfully tonight @fcaidaho Fields of Faith in Parma Idaho. Brought me to tears to see nearly 100 young adults come forward to make a public declaration to follow Christ. I believe God is doing a fresh work in our day. The most rewarding adventure in life is to follow Jesus and allow Him to use our story for His glory. by @chaplainmoreno

Shout out to @cv_photography_idaho for doing an amazing job capturing last nights Fields of Faith event at Homedale football stadium . The Holy Spirit moved powerfully! Over 600 in attendance and over 100 surrendered lives. Gives me chills seeing the response of these students 🙏🏽 by @chaplainmoreno

It’s always powerful to see people respond to the call of Jesus and the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

Last night, over 600 people from all over Oregon and Idaho gathered at Homedale High School football field for FCA’s Fields of Faith, and more than 100 came forward to surrender their lives to Jesus.

Please pray that God continues His work of transformation in them and makes a lasting impact through them for His Kingdom. by @chaplainmoreno

“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.” Rom 6‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT
Always an honor to play a small role in someone’s faith journey as they take another step in surrendering their life to Christ. Proud of my brother Jamon and excited for all that God has ahead for him. #Baptism #Airforce #militaryfamily by @chaplainmoreno

This past Sunday, I had the honor of sharing the gospel message at Calvary Chapel Boises annual Church in the Park. It brought me to tears to see so many people come forward to say yes to Jesus, be baptized, and make a public declaration of the inward transformation Christ has begun in their lives.

Following Jesus truly is the greatest adventure—and the best decision we could ever make. by @chaplainmoreno

Grateful for the opportunity to spend this past weekend in beautiful McCall building up our military families, and create a little space for them to reconnect, laugh, and make new memories.

And thankful for a partner who supports me, serves alongside me, and is with me through it all. 🙏🏽 by @chaplainmoreno

Thoughts on building things that matter. Hope it encourages you 🙏🏽 by @chaplainmoreno

Want to give a Happy Birthday shout out to my queen @estefany.marilu ! It is such a joy to do life with you. You truly radiate the Love of Jesus, you are beautiful inside and out and are genuinely an example of the Proverbs 31 woman. We’ve already been on many adventures together and I am so excited to keep discovering the journey God has for us year after year. Love you mamacita! by @chaplainmoreno

In 2002, I went on my first mission trip to Mexicali, Mexico. It was on that trip that I surrendered my life to Christ.

For the next 12 years, I had the privilege of participating in or leading at least two mission teams each year—serving everywhere from small rural communities in Oregon to leper colonies and slums in India.

Then, because of life circumstances, there came a 12-year pause from mission trips.

2 weeks ago , I was finally able to return to the mission field alongside my wife and a small team from Boise, Idaho. My heart is so full after serving the beautiful people of Tepic, Mexico. We arrived believing we were going there to serve them, but in so many ways, they ended up serving us.

I am incredibly grateful for every opportunity God gives us to be His hands and feet—whenever and wherever He calls. by @chaplainmoreno

Just spent the last week in Tepic, Mexico, on a mission trip. I’ll be sharing more photos soon.

One of my biggest takeaways came from an incredible woman named Josefina. She is 81 years old, yet has more energy than many people half her age. She’s a widow, and all of her children live in other towns or countries.

I asked her, “What’s your secret to staying so strong, healthy, and youthful?”

Her answer was simple:

“Love Christ and serve others.”

What a powerful reminder to chase after Christ, not trends, fads, money or fame.
“Praise the Lord, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:5 (NIV) by @chaplainmoreno
