In seven days, we’ll be opening the doors at 340 King’s Road and bringing Chapman to London for a week - and we can’t wait to be back in the capital.

Come and explore the collection, see the bags and materials up close, and discover the craftsmanship that goes into every Chapman bag in our workshop in Cumbria.

We are very excited to announce Chapman is coming to London.

From 19–25 October, you’ll find us at 340 King’s Road, where we’re delighted to be joining Philippa London for a week-long pop-up.

We’ll be bringing a selection of Chapman bags from our workshop in Cumbria, giving you the chance to see the collection in person, discover the craftsmanship and materials up close, and find your next everyday or weekend companion.

We’ll be joined by @tarrarosenbaum and @castanohel , alongside @philippalondon .

Some places stay with you.

For Chapman, that place is Carlisle.

For over 40 years, our story has been rooted here in Cumbria. In the workshop, in the hands of the people who make our bags, and in the landscape that has surrounded Chapman since the very beginning.

Carlisle Castle has watched over this city for centuries. Our story is much younger, but it is part of the same place, shaped by the same sense of permanence, practicality and pride in what is made here.

Today, our bags still leave our Carlisle workshop by hand, carrying a little piece of home with them wherever they go.

A reminder of where we came from.
A connection to where we are.
And a heritage we’ll continue to carry forward.
