📖 You Only Live Once — @stutichangle

This book felt like a little reminder to stop overthinking life and actually live it.

I loved how the story brings together Alara, Aarav and Ricky, each with their own mess, dreams and things they're trying to figure out. Their journey through Goa was honestly one of my favourite parts—it gave the story such a different feel. 🌊

Some parts really made me stop and think, while a few others felt a little too stretched for me. But I liked that the book doesn't try to give you some perfect answers to life. It simply makes you think about the choices you're making and whether you're actually happy with where you're headed.

There were a few moments where I saw myself in the characters, and I think that's what made the book special to me.

Sometimes you don't need a big life-changing lesson. Sometimes you just need a reminder that you only live once. 💛

📖 The Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop — Takuya Asakura

I picked this up because the whole idea of a mysterious bookshop appearing when someone needs it most sounded so interesting.

What I liked most was how each story had something different going on, but they all came back to the same feelings—loss, memories, regret and learning to let go.

The bookshop itself was probably my favourite part. The cherry blossoms, books, coffee and Kobako the cat made it feel like such a warm little place. 🌸🐈

Some parts were emotional without trying too hard to be, and I liked that. It made me think about how sometimes we hold onto people, memories or regrets because we're not quite ready to say goodbye.

It wasn't a perfect read for me, but it was definitely one of those books that left me feeling warm after I finished it.

⭐️ 4.5/5

Would I visit the Vanishing Cherry Blossom Bookshop if it actually existed? Absolutely. 🌸📚

📖 Samsara: Enter the Valley of the Gods — @sakshamgarg94

This was actually my first time reading a fantasy book inspired by Indian mythology, so I went into it without really knowing what to expect.

And I think that's what made the experience so interesting for me. I loved discovering the world of Samsara and coming across gods, mystical elements, a hidden valley and so many pieces of Indian mythology woven into the story.

There were definitely moments when I felt a little lost, especially with the number of characters and everything happening at once. I also wished some parts had been explored a little more.

But by the time I turned the last page, I knew one thing for sure—I wanted to explore more of this genre. For a first journey into fantasy mythology, Samsara made me curious enough to keep the door open for many more adventures.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

Sometimes the best books don't just tell you a story—they introduce you to an entirely new world. ✨📚

📖 One Arranged Murder — @chetanbhagat

This was one of those books that I picked up thinking I'd read a few chapters and ended up wanting to know what happened next. 😭

I really enjoyed trying to piece the mystery together along with Keshav and Saurabh. There were quite a few suspects, and I kept changing my mind about who I thought was behind everything.

What I liked most was how easy the book was to read. The writing is simple, the chapters move quickly, and there is enough suspense to keep you interested without making the story feel too complicated.

I did guess a few things along the way, and some parts felt a little dramatic, but overall I had a genuinely good time reading it.

It may not be the most intricate thriller I've read, but as a fast, entertaining mystery, it definitely worked for me.

⭐️ 4/5

A quick, easy thriller with enough twists, drama and suspicion to keep you turning the pages. 📚🔍

📖 The Enemy — @authorsarahadams

This was such a fun romance read. 😂💕

I really enjoyed the chemistry between June and Ryan. Their constant teasing, competitiveness and the fact that neither of them wanted to admit what was actually going on made their relationship so entertaining to read.

I also liked that underneath all the banter, there was a lot of history between them. It wasn't just about two people meeting and falling in love—it felt like watching two people finally deal with feelings they'd been carrying for years.

June definitely tested my patience at times 😂, but I still found myself rooting for them. And Ryan? He was definitely the highlight for me.

It was funny, sweet, a little chaotic, and gave me exactly the lighthearted romance I was looking for.

⭐️ 4.5/5

A perfect read when you want something cute, funny and full of chemistry without anything too heavy. 💕

📖 Days at the Torunka Café — Satoshi Yagisawa

There was something really human about this book.

What I loved was that the characters aren't trying to have perfect lives. They are carrying regrets, things left unsaid, and choices they sometimes wish they could change. And yet, life keeps giving them small reasons to move forward.

I found myself thinking about how easily we underestimate small encounters. A conversation with someone, a familiar place, or simply being understood at the right moment can change the way we look at something we've been carrying for a long time.

The stories are simple, but they made me pause. There’s a quiet sadness running through the book, but also a lot of warmth and hope.

It felt less like reading about extraordinary lives and more like being reminded that ordinary people can have extraordinary feelings.

⭐️ 4.5/5

A gentle reminder that sometimes moving forward doesn't mean forgetting the past. It just means learning to carry it differently. ☕🤍

📖 Dear Debbie by @fmcfaddenauthor

Okay, I really enjoyed this one. 👀

I was hooked pretty early on, and once the story started getting complicated, I just wanted to keep reading and see where everything would end up. Debbie was definitely an interesting character because I couldn't always decide whether I was rooting for her or questioning her choices.

I loved the tension and the way the story kept making me second-guess what was actually going on. There were a couple of moments where I guessed what might happen, but that didn't really take away from the experience for me.

It was fast, messy, unpredictable and very easy to get into — exactly the kind of thriller I enjoy when I want something that keeps me turning pages.

Was everything perfect? No. A few things felt slightly over the top for me, but honestly, I was having too much fun reading to care that much.

⭐️ 4.5/5

Definitely one of those books where I kept telling myself “just one more chapter”… and then suddenly I was halfway through. 😭📖

While We Wait by @durjoydatta ❤️

I went into this book expecting a love story, but it turned out to be much more about healing, loss, and finding hope when life feels uncertain.

What I liked most was the emotional honesty. The conversations felt real, and the characters carried their pain in a way that didn't feel exaggerated. Their connection grew naturally, making it easy to root for them.

That said, I did feel the story slowed down in a few places, and I wanted some moments to have a little more emotional depth. Even so, I never lost interest because I genuinely cared about what would happen next.

This isn't a fast-paced romance or a book full of unexpected twists. It's a quiet, emotional read that reminds you that sometimes the hardest part isn't moving on—it's learning to wait.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)

A heartfelt story that stayed with me even after I turned the last page. If you enjoy emotional contemporary fiction with relatable characters, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop ❤️

Returning to the Morisaki Bookshop felt less like picking up a sequel and more like catching up with people I genuinely cared about.

What I appreciated most was that this book doesn't try to recreate the magic of the first one. Instead, it quietly expands it. The story reminds us that life doesn't suddenly become perfect after we've healed. We continue to grow, make mistakes, reconnect with people, and discover new parts of ourselves.

One of my favorite aspects was how naturally the relationships evolved. Every conversation felt meaningful without trying too hard, and the emotions were expressed with a simplicity that made them feel real. The book doesn't rely on dramatic moments to keep you engaged—it finds beauty in ordinary days, shared meals, quiet walks, and heartfelt conversations.

If you're expecting a fast-paced plot, this might not be the right book. But if you enjoy stories that encourage you to slow down and appreciate life's quieter moments, this sequel is a wonderful companion.

For me, this wasn't a book about a bookshop.

It was a gentle reminder that the people we meet, the places we return to, and the stories we carry with us continue to shape us long after one chapter ends.

⭐️ 4.5/5

Some books entertain you for a few hours. Others quietly stay with you. More Days at the Morisaki Bookshop belongs to the second kind.

The Match by Sarah Adams

Sometimes you don't need a complicated love story—you just need one that makes you smile.
The Match is a heartwarming romance about Evie, who works with service dogs, and Jacob, a single father whose daughter may benefit from one. What starts with a rocky first meeting slowly grows into a relationship built on trust, kindness, and genuine care.

What I enjoyed most was how naturally the romance developed. It wasn't just about chemistry; it was about two people carrying emotional baggage and slowly finding comfort in each other. Jacob's relationship with his daughter added so much warmth to the story, and the service-dog storyline gave the book a refreshing touch.

This isn't a book full of shocking twists or high drama. It's the kind of romance you pick up when you want something comforting, wholesome, and easy to get lost in.

⭐️ 4.25/5

If you're looking for a sweet, closed-door romance with lovable characters and plenty of heart, this one is worth adding to your TBR. 💛

I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki

Some books tell a story.

This book starts a conversation.

Reading it felt like listening to thoughts that are usually left unsaid—questions about happiness, self-worth, anxiety, and what it means to keep going when you're exhausted by life but still hopeful for something better.

What stayed with me wasn't a particular chapter or quote. It was honesty. The author doesn't pretend to have everything figured out, and that's what makes the book so powerful.

It's not dramatic. It's not filled with big revelations.

It's simply human.

And maybe that's why so many people see themselves in the pages.

⭐️ 4/5

A quiet reminder that struggling doesn't make you weak, and healing doesn't always happen all at once.
