Today marks Colton’s 10-year anniversary with Chapter One as a tattoo artist.
Colton’s story began in April 2014, and he completed his apprenticeship on January 1, 2016. Since then, he has flourished in his craft as a Traditional Japanese tattoo artist, and we’re incredibly grateful to have him here at Chapter One.

Thank you, Colton - and cheers to a decade of tattooing. taken in San Diego, California by @chapteronetattoo

Japanese water is by far my favorite thing to draw. I always find myself sketching little ghost waves and it usually turns in to something bigger like this painting. I’d love to do more tattoos with water in it as the main or supporting subject. Just send me a DM and we can get the ball rolling. 🤝
