What did you add to your kindle tbr this month?

The September deals are saving the day because waking up in pitch black is definitely not the vibe 🙂‍↔️🥱

I'm back to work today after having the whole summer off, and the reality of that hit EXTRA hard this morning. Why is it already dark when I wake up now?! The only thing that stopped me crying into my morning coffee was the sheer amount of top-tier 99p Kindle deals this month.

Even though I already own an embarrassing amount of these in physical copies I couldn't resist grabbing a few cheeky bargains for my never ending tbr

✨ Princess of Blood — Sarah Hawley
✨ The Winged Game — Sophie Kim
✨ City of Gods and Monsters — Kayla Edwards
✨ West of Forever — Corinne Michaels
✨ The Final Score — Lana Ferguson

Remember when finding a sprayed edge was like finding a golden ticket? Now you can get special editions pretty much anywhere and everywhere...

One of my favourite places to buy sprayed edges has to be The Works because JUST LOOK AT THESE 😍 they're absolutely stunning!!

I am literally obsessed with how these look on my shelf!

💜 The Truths We Burn – Monty Jay
🧡 Embrace – Bal Khabra
🩵 Daybreak – Autumn Woods
🩷 In Stormy Weather – Chelsea Curto
💙 Into the Fading Twilight – Catherine Cowles
🖤 Devour Me – Emily Rath

I honestly can’t decide if I want to read them or just stare at them from across the room all day. 🤣

Where do you like to buy your special editions from?

happy sunday book besties! ☕️✨

Have you read this duology yet or is it on your tbr?

I’m having a super chill day today and finally diving into my current read, Broken Dove by Dani Francis! 🕊️🖤

I'm going to be real with you .. Silver Elite absolutely finished me & I've been stuck in a total reading slump since I finished it a few days ago. 🫠

Needless to say, the only way to cure a slump like this is to dive right back in and find out how it all ends! Wish me luck, because I’ve seen so many conflicting opinions about book 2 … 😂

What are you currently reading? 💭

trial & error 🌺

What an insane debut! 🥳 🎉

I was lucky enough to be on the beta reading team for Trial and Error, so I'm absolutely OBSESSED that everyone else in the world finally gets to meet Elias and Bridget!

Once I started reading, I simply could not put it down.. I actually devoured this book.

Elias Cohen has officially ruined all other men for me... honestly he is the ultimate golden-retriever MMC who is completely obsessed with his girl. Fake dating is one of my all time favorite tropes & Tilly managed to hit it on the head at every single turn! The chemistry was off the charts and I honestly found myself screaming at them to JUST KISS ALREADY!!!!

💜 fake engagement
💜 he falls first
💜 friends to lovers
💜 found family

The story hit every single emotion possible, one minute I was laughing out loud, then I was mad, then I was kicking my feet & then tearing up. It's so raw but it was balanced absolutely perfectly!

Easily one of my favourite reads this year & I can’t wait for the rest of the Briarwood series... It's going to be epic!! @tillyoliverwrites

peak autumn aesthetic right here. 🍂✨

the colours of this bookstack are giving autumn in the best freaking way aka one of my absolute favourite times of year! There's nothing better than snuggling on the sofa with a blanket & a book or chugging on a pumpkin spiced latte ☕

& also how good does my personalized leather bookmark from @thecryptidcreations look alongside the stack 😍 it literally matches like it was made for it!

"I'll be ready in five minutes, I'm just picking out a book" — a lie told by every reader in existence.

My current agenda for the remainder of Sunday includes avoiding phone calls & texts, sipping on a coffee & getting lost in my current reads 😉

🎧 - silver elite by dani francis
📱 - crown me yours by liv zander (I actually cannot believe the buddy read made it out of the group chat ladies @hayleysbookishera @thelibraryofbecs

If you had to grab just ONE book off these shelves right now, which color section are you reaching for first?

Stop scrolling and look at this perfection! 🐉❤️ ✨

You already know Fourth Wing is one of my top romantasy books ever. My obsession is deep. So I was fully screaming when these insanely unique and stunning keychains from @thecryptidcreations arrived for my collection!

The detail? Absolutely wild. Tairn, Sgaeyl, and even Violet’s Violence potion are just next level! I needed these so bad and Cryptid Creations absolutely nailed them!

it's me, hi ... I'm the problem. ✨ 📚

I swear I always have the intention to sit down and read & then 3 hours later I've realised I've been doom scrolling or gotten lost in finding character art for my favourite books!

my september hopefuls 📖 ✨

what's on your tbr or hopefuls for the month?

listen I know I'm already a week into the month & after being back to work my reading has taken a nosedive and I've read a big fat ZERO number of pages this week .. but we are going to stay positive and have the belief that atleast maybe some of these will be read 🤣

physical hopefuls 🤞🏻

the lies we steal & the truth we burn by monty jay
devour me by emily rath
steelborn by taylor j.larue

kindle hopefuls 🤞🏻

princess of blood by sarah hawley
the silversmith by lj claren
burn of the everflame by penn cole
corrupt by penelope douglas
blood & betrayals by alexis rune & jeanette rose
god of malice by rina kent
bonetide by karina halle

I'm acutely aware that my vibe is going off on a dark romance & romantasy vibe .. but with the BER months in full swing I'm having an urge that I just need to give in to 🤣

If you HAD to pick only one romance trope to read for the rest of your life which one are you going for 🤔 fake dating, slow burn, grumpy x sunshine?

The best kind of mail day arrived, and my heart (and TBR) could not be fuller. 📬🥹✨

A massive thank you to the publishers for these stunning copies! I’m beyond grateful to have these landing on romance road —opening bookmail like this genuinely never gets old.

🧡 Cherry Tree Ranch by Meghan DeGuelle — small town x cowboy x forbidden love triangle .. YEEEHAW!

🧡 Kiss Me Like You Mean It by Laura Wood — fake dating x brother's best friend x small town romance .. I'M HERE FOR IT!

shelfie sunday🌸🌻🌧️🍃☂️

happy sunday book besties! what's your plan for the day? Are you trying to squeeze in one last read for august? Because I know I am 😂

there was a plot twist in my final week of being off for the summer that involved a LITERAL hike to the summit of mount Snowdon 🏔️ & although i can confirm it was absolutely worth it (I'll do a photo dump soon!) my body is still in recovery mode so it's a slow cosy sunday for me filled with coffee & reading.

the heat this summer has drained every single bit of energy I had and I am so ready for the BER months, the pumpkin spiced lattes, the cosy jumpers & the crisp, cold nights.

are you ready for the autumn/winter months?
