I realised that I’ve never fully introduced myself when I started this page and at nearly 500 followers I thought it was time to!
So Hello! My name is Chloe, I’m 30 and live in North Yorkshire (England). I have two lovely children who are aged 5 and 3. I work in a school and that’s what got me back into reading last year, hearing all the children read and get excited over their favourite books and it made me miss that feeling! So I then went out and bought A Court of Thorns and Roses and the obsession for books has grown since then! My favourite genre is Romantasy/fantasy!

My ‘spooky’ season physical TBR 🧙🏻‍♀️🦇🎃
Pushing these books from my TBR list up to be a priority… Alchemised has been on my TBR for over a year now and I think it’s time to finally read it!

What a week 🫠 this week consisted of OFSTED at work, looking after a friends dog and partner being away! Hopefully next week will be a bit more calmer! Just started reading Heat of the Everflame and can’t wait to see what happens!

💜 The Poison Daughter by Sheila Masterson 💜
Wow what a book… I really didn’t expect the twists and turns of this book and it genuinely left me stunned!
The enemies to lovers trope was perfect, It wasn’t a case of one kiss and they loved each other. Swipe to see the other tropes in the book ➡️
The amount of tears I had whilst reading this, left me sobbing 😭
Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and would highly recommend putting it on your TBR or reading it if it’s already on your TBR!

I’ve completed my reading goal of 26 books for 2026! Some of the books I’ve read weren’t actually on my original list for 2026 but my TBR is forever growing 😂 swipe to the last slide to see my original plan for 2026 ➡️

THIS book has me in a chokehold! And I may of stayed up a little later than I should last night so that I could finish it 🫣😅 The slow-burn and yearning left me with wanting more! And the characters are just 😮‍💨

I can see who so many people rate it highly! Now to go and buy the second book!
