📚 A little treat… A couple of books happened to find their way home with me recently! Sam Holland : I absolutely loved The Echo Man when I read it on holiday this year, so when I spotted these it was an easy decision! Freida McFadden : I’ve actually only read The Housemaid trilogy so far, so I thought it was probably time I branched out a little and tried something else from her. Laurie Gilmore : Absolutely no clue what this is about. I’ve just seen it everywhere lately and feel like I'm missing out by not owning a copy! Current Read 📖 My Husband's Wife: Alice Feeney I’ve seen this book everywhere lately, I only bought it a few weeks ago, but it’s somehow snuck itself straight to the top of my TBR pile! I read @alicewriterland Rock Paper Scissors a few months ago and loved the twists, some I'd managed to guess, but others completely floored me! And I know from other reviews this one is also going to be full of “wait… WHAT?!” moments and I am here for it! Book Review 📚 Swept Away : Beth O'Leary This one started really slow for me, I wasn't sure where it was going for quite a while (other than out to sea obvs!) But then a bit of additional drama in the plot completely changed it for me, and I was fully invested! In the end I was quite disappointed when I'd finished, I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to them Zeke or Lexi! A slow burner that won me over in the end 🤍 ⭐️ 4/5 by @chaptersofyorkshire

Sainsbury's Pit Stop Had a quick peek at the Books whilst grabbing a few essentials, as you do! Slim pickings this time… but here's a few caught my eye! The Little Things in Life : Catherine Hapka Sometimes a little reminder to appreciate the simple things is all we need.. A Curious Ending : Sally Page It was the cover that caught my eye, but also looked to be an intriguing read - a suspicious death and a ghost helping to solve it..! The Last Love Song : Lucinda Riley London in the swinging 60s London, rural Ireland and a missing rockstar - my kind of story!
