Shining like the star I always knew I was meant to be , I am so grateful for this journey it has taught me strength, resilience and patience.
Today I graduated, I made the most of all my years at Chestnut Hill but Senior year was so meaningful, I did things I didn’t expect to do, connected with people whom I’d never thought to approach, and I challenged my self to the fullest extent. Both semesters I took 6 classes back to back and made it right on the deans list ! I knew what i had to do and I overcame every obstacle! I am beyond proud of myself, with God’s grace I was able to complete my studies and receive my Bachelor’s of Art in Media and Communications ❤️!

Graduating college is one of my greatest accomplishments so far, and this journey has taught me resilience, perseverance, and strength. The obstacles I faced along the way shaped me into the person I am today and reminded me to never give up, even when life became difficult.
Finding my footing was not easy. I first declared a major I had no passion for and slowly lost interest in school altogether. Between losing family members and friends, struggling mentally, and feeling unmotivated, there were moments when I truly did not know how I would continue. But changing my major changed everything. The moment I declared Media and Communications, I knew I had finally found where I belonged.
There was a point in my journey when I almost was not able to return to school. I fell into a deep depression that eventually led me to academic probation, and at the time, it felt like everything was falling apart. But with faith, support, and determination, I refused to give up on myself. I worked hard to raise my GPA, overcome that difficult season, and continue pushing toward my degree. Looking back, that experience taught me what true strength and perseverance really look like.
Throughout college, I balanced being a full time student while maintaining a part time job. Financially, things were difficult, especially during my last year when I worked both work study and my regular job just to make it through. Despite the exhaustion, every sacrifice was worth it.
Along this journey, I was also inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success, reminding me that my hard work never went unnoticed.I will always appreciate how deeply the staff at Chestnut Hill College cared for me and supported me every step of the way.
Most importantly, my relationship with God has grown immensely during my time in college. No matter what tried to stand in my way, He always made a way for me to succeed.
A huge thank you to my family, friends and most of all Chestnut Hill College !
With all that being said, I am beyond proud to say that I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications on May 16th, 2026.❤️🖤❤️🖤 taken in Chestnut Hill College by @char.liaaa
