So we have a tombstone in the TABOO office now. 🪦A daily reminder exactly where our ‘that’ll do’ decisions and ideas will end up. ☠️

It greets clients as they walk in and hopefully scares them a little bit. 😜 Come lay flowers to all those vanilla requests, briefs or *heaven forbid* boring work that’s made it out in the world. If we get enough, we’ll light a funeral pyre or something*

Happy Father’s Day to those who more than ‘just do it’. Especially you @sonman74 If parenting were a sport, you’d be doing the equivalent of an Ironman everyday. Finished with an overnight marathon. Thank you for taking on almost all of the mental (and physical) load. (To those who ask how I manage to juggle the job with the kids, I don’t. Sonny has taken on the CEOing of their lives.) Being a parent who is also a carer can be gnarly and lonely and thankless. Breakfast in bed after another night with v little sleep is like throwing a box of chocolates into a hurricane by way of appreciation. But it’s the least I could do. Anyway. We love you. I put the washing in the dryer especially. And Yes, I remembered to take out your shirt ♥️

25 years ago we went on our first shoot together. (3 weeks in New Zealand flying business for a 10 second commercial. I KNOW.) Today we’re both living in Aus, 2 blocks from one another, our eldests are besties, we give talks on moving the industry forward (with these loons @joshwatermusic @skarby * all enquiries to our agent, er, Skarby) and get to score trips to Sydney under the guise of ‘oh we’re just nominated for this thingy, we simply gotta go.’

LIFE GOAL ACHIEVED.
Grew a pumpkin in my garden and then made a pumpkin pie. Why did I not know pumpkin pies were so delicious? Why would anyone look at these big ol’ gourds and think “let us add cream and eggs and spices and put it in pastry!” Why are these not more of a thing outside of America? American friends/fam please confirm that you eat these pies weekly by @char_writes_
