Could I spare your time for a moment… 💛

This year, @loungepanero chose Home-Start as their charity of the year, and as Char & Co Cards, we wanted to get behind it too. Home-Start supports families with young children through some of the toughest moments in their lives — free, friendly, non-judgemental help when parents need it most. No family should have to face that completely alone.

This Saturday, Panero have a stand at a local fundraising fayre, and alongside them we’ve made 40 homemade Pokémon packs to give out on the day. Putting cards into the hands of kids, especially those who might not otherwise get the chance, means everything to us.

None of this would’ve been possible without the generosity of some incredible people who donated cards to help make it happen — huge thank you to @tildapoppyxo @big_man_mewtwo @aura.stace_ @youskippedthis @shiny.joanna @antbarry5 🙏

We’ve set a goal of only £100 for Home-Start, and every single donation gets us closer, big or small. Link to our fundraiser is in bio if you’d like to help, even if you can’t make it Saturday.

It’s a small gesture, but every little bit helps. Thank you for reading this far, and thank you for helping us give a bit of joy to families who need it most 💛

Part 4 of 5 — the finale, and it’s my turn to rip 👀

This one comes with an important heads up for the community though. When we opened this Costco tin collection box, not a single tin had anything worth writing home about, well, 4 out of 4 that we actually opened, the last one was set aside as a giveaway tin. No visible signs of tampering, nothing obviously wrong with the packaging, genuinely looked untouched.

It wasn’t until later, going through the code cards from the Silver Tempest packs, that we worked out something didn’t add up. Based on the codes, we should have pulled at least a holo in 2 of the packs, but every single one came back rares only. That mismatch is what tipped us off that this box had likely been released and resealed before it ever reached us.

This isn’t us pointing fingers at any one retailer, more just a genuine PSA: sometimes you really can’t tell just by looking. If you’re buying sealed product, especially anything that’s been on a shelf a while, it’s always worth keeping an eye on details like this.

Regardless we had a wicked time ripping this thing thanks again to @ripz_collectables & @top_decktavern for coming down to @loungepanero for our Pokemon @ Panero event

Anyway, my turn to rip, let’s see if the streak continues or if I finally get something worth celebrating 😅

Anyone else had a box that turned out to be resealed? How did you spot it? 👇

Professional ripper right here 🎬🔥

@ripz_collectables getting stuck into a tin opening at our latest Pokémon @ Panero event, and honestly the confidence on display was unreal. No hesitation, no fumbling, just clean, efficient ripping start to finish 😂

Some people just have the technique down.

Couldn't wait, so straight after the tins we're cracking into the 30th Celebration ETB too 😅🎉

Sylveon vs Greninja battle wasn't enough excitement for one day apparently, now let's see what this Elite Trainer Box has in store. 9 packs, a gorgeous Nidorina promo, and 30 unique Pikachu variants up for grabs, we're not holding back today.

Patience has never been our strong suit when it comes to new sets 😂

What are you hoping we pull? 👇

Getting ready for our first ever card show! 🎉✨

That's right, our very first show. This is such an exciting moment for me and Sam, and honestly it still doesn't feel real writing it out.

Huge thank you to @jodiemarie86 and @winter_and_daddycollects for the opportunity, and to @southcoast_cardcon for putting this event together.

But really, this moment belongs to all of you. From engraving our very first binder to now vending at our first show, none of this would've been possible without this community backing us. Thank you for helping us grow this into something we're genuinely proud of 🙏💛

Really feels like we're on the right track thanks to all of you guys 🫶🫶

Come find us there, more details soon 👀

Opening 30th Anniversary tins 🎉✨

Sam's got Sylveon ex, I've got Greninja ex, each tin loaded with 4 booster packs of 30th Celebration on top of our promo pulls.

Whimsical vs clever, let's see who comes out on top 😏

Anniversary set energy is unmatched right now, genuinely can't get enough of these pull rates.

Who do you reckon wins this one, Team Sylveon or Team Greninja? 👇

First up, it’s Sam’s turn 👀

Did she pull something worth celebrating, or did she get absolutely cooked? Watch and decide for yourself 😅
