Four flights. Three layovers. The Passive-Aggressive Groove
Instead of screaming or going full nuclear, I opted for a steady, passive-aggressive slap groove. Here is some Larry Graham ✨ by @charbel_sawma

Due to Abdo’s flight being canceled, he won’t be able to make it this Friday. We’re super excited to have Pavlo joining us on the drums to play a special, hand-picked set of jazz and R&B favorites that we all love. 🥁✨ Come catch us at @albebeirut Albé on Friday, October 23 at 9:30 PM! 🖤 “ reservation is a must “ by @charbel_sawma

Musical Dialogues | Series #01 : Junior
Live Session #02 — Junior × Abdo × Charbel

In the second session, Junior meets Abdo Sawma and Charbel Sauma for a live musical dialogue, bringing synths and drum machines into conversation with drums and bass. An open space for experimentation and improvisation, where instruments and rhythms interact, and sound takes shape in the moment through listening and musical exchange.

• Entry: $10, or pay what you can (+/−)
• Doors open at 8:30 PM. The performance starts at 9:00 PM sharp.

After the session, we’ll keep the night going with Dao on the decks by the bar, blending hip-hop and electronic music.

The first chapter of Musical Dialogues brings Junior to Riwaq Beirut for an ongoing series of live sessions and musical encounters, each pairing him with a different musician or musical artist.
Rooted in Junior’s practice across synths, electronics, and experimental music, these sessions create an open space for listening, interaction, and improvisation, with instruments, sounds, and approaches shifting from one encounter to the next.⁩ by @charbel_sawma

$Presenting our last birds on the line up { Bonne Chose } 🍃🐦🍃🐦🍃🐦🍃🐦🍃🐦🍃 BONNE CHOSE (شي طيّب) is a Beirut-based trio — Abdo Sawma (drums), Charbel Sawma (bass), and Rami Abou Khalil (keys). Their live sets feel more like conversations than performances, shaped in real time by years of playing together. Jazz-rooted but unbound, their sound moves between structured grooves and open improvisation, with Arabic modal threads running underneath. The name says it: whatever feels good, in the moment it's felt.
