CLÔTURE x @revolverupstairs PRESENTS: CALEB JAY [LIVE] + GUESTS

we are back in our favorite club for a fully patched night of live electronics, selectors, hardware and vinyl.

At the centre of the circuit, @itscalebjay brings the machines to the stage for the first time with a full live hardware techno performance, alongside Naarm producers routed through seven hours of indie dance, tech house, acid, hardgroove and techno.

We teamed up with @proponentvfx , broadcasting the night live as it unfolds and giving the crowd a front-row view into the machines at work.

Stoked to announce that @charbinks.prod will be joining us at SUBSURFACE!
〰️
French-born, Naarm-based, and heavily armed with an eye watering array of deep grooves, raw acid textures, and zero-compromise club attitude, CHARBINK$ continually impresses from behind the big wheels!
When not tearing it up on 3 decks, CHARBINK$ is also a studio owner and manager, sound engineer, and total local
legend, having spent years dismantling dancefloors from the cage at Revs to the dust at Pitch and BTV. Moving effortlessly from quintessential French house and electro straight into dirty 90s grooves, CHARBINK$ holds a clinic in high-vibe fluidity mixed with proper underground energy. No safe options, just pure unadulterated heat! OUI OUI!

Today’s guest on Upward Spiralling on @area3000.radio is local powerhouse @charbinks.prod! 💫

In addition to being a producer, she runs @bulldogstudios_, @cloture.melb, and is constantly DJing around Melbourne. As someone who’s also building a life here centred around music, she’s a huge source of inspiration for me, so I’m thrilled to have her on the show today! ✨

Here are a few words from her about this episode-

This mix sits somewhere between rolling minimal house, deep grooves acid layers and stripped-back tech. I’ve included a few of my unreleased tracks, two of them coming up in my next EP in collaboration with my friend Sammie, alongside tracks from artists like Vltra, Somersault, Calabasa, and Emi Ömar. This is a bit of snapshot of where my sound is at right now, enjoy

Lock in from 4–6pm on @area3000.radio area3000radio🎶

CharBink$ takes over for the first 90 minutes, followed by a 30-minute big room house session from me to close things out 🌀🌀🌀 by @charbinks.prod
