2 cycles, 2 MCATs, and a billion rejections later, I am extremely blessed, humbled, and proud to say that I will be attending Johns Hopkins School of Medicine this fall 😭🥹❤️

It feels like a dream to be able to write those words. I am still in utter shock and disbelief that I will have the privilege of attending one of the top medical schools in the country to pursue my education AND with a full ride (thanks daddy bloomberg 😭)

I could make this post very long, but for those who have been with me all this time—offering your unwavering support, love, and care—please know that I would not be here without you. If this journey has taught me anything, it really is that you cannot achieve your dreams without a support system standing right behind you. Thank you Winston for spending countless of hours editing my personal statements and teaching me the logic behind the CARS section. Thank you to my parents for providing me the resources and environment to thrive, grow, and pursue a higher level of education. Thank you to my friends for picking me up during my lowest of lows. Thank you to Southland for the best gap year job ever and showing me the type of physician I want to be. Thank you to my mentors and letter writers. Thank you to all those who believed in me. I owe it all to you.

this year has been such a whirlwind of emotions, challenges, and new beginnings. now that i’m 24, i feel like life hasn’t really changed much at all but i’m somehow in my “mid 20s”??? time flies and i’m just grateful to continue being surrounded by my loved ones through it all. i have a feeling 24 will be a momentous year for me, so i’m excited for what’s to come :) and thank you to all my friends and family who turned my birthday day into a week long celebration, ending with the most beautiful dinner at bestia (thank you Kevin!!!) i’ve had the most fun and feel so incredibly loved ❤️ cheers to another year!! by @charcharvu

2024 <3

A year dedicated to copious amounts of matcha lattes, concerts, new music, new friends, and everlasting memories (captured by both 0.5 selfies and my new canon g7x) 🥹 I got the opportunity to travel to utah to ski, new york with my best friends, vegas (many times lol), seattle for my first rave, and chicago for the first time ever!!! Much love to all my friends and those who I’ve crossed paths with this year, I love everyone so much 💖 thank you for making this year so fun and memorable 🥹 can’t wait for what 2025 brings!! by @charcharvu
