This week's second hike was pretty chill! I hadn't slept well so I needed something simple but still wanted to push myself a bit more. 2 miles we walked! Had a blast singing and just enjoying the peacefulness of nature!

Tonight the sky kissed my heart and this song reminded me why silence tastes so bittersweet.

If you're struggling.. please know I'm right here, right there with you. I know. I so devastatingly know. And I wish we could all collectively wrap our arms around each other, let out our sorrows together. And in the moment, we could all not feel alone.

Also, everyone.. I just realized that my previous post was supposed to go on my main account 🥲 Because the backstory to me getting surgery is on there. But to bring you up to speed since I'll be unable to hike/do strenuous activities for 6 weeks in the near future, I figured I should explain.

I've dealt with chronic pelvic pain and PMOS (aka PCOS) for quite a while now. And it's gotten to the point where I had to make the decision between maybe finding someone I love and having children but suffering until that happens or getting a partial hysterectomy so I can actually live my life.

Emotionally, it has been a bit hard to accept having to close the door on ever having my own children so permanently. I'm the kind of person who likes to have all her options available. Thankfully having kids was never something I dreamed/hoped for. Only if I happened to like a guy who did want kids. But truthfully with how my life is now, I just don't see a man coming into it and wanting to be involved. Perhaps the right one but I'm far too hidden for him to find me 😆

Anyhow. That's what I have going on. And I'll be inactive for 6 weeks ;( As far as posting. Maybe I'll post previous adventures, even when I was in Chicago! Would you guys like that? I'll maybe update in stories too. But you'll probably see more of me on my main acct. You don't have to follow! Just saying. Lol.

Today is gearing up to be a very eventful and tiring day. But I got to see some beautiful views on my way to work and my doctor appt. Everyone!! I'm so happy to share that I've lost 6.8 lbs!! My last weigh in was August 27th. I've been walking and hiking since September 29th. My first weight loss goal is 25bs. I am sad I'll have to stop for 6 weeks once I have my surgery but, I'm hoping I can schedule it out enough where I can healthily lose that weight before hand. We'll see!

The first photo is after leaving work this morning. Saw this cat and magpie hanging out and that it was absolutely adorable! As for the last, I don't know the artist's name but it represents how I've been feeling lately. Like death but happily blooming 🤭

Oh! I'm also happy to report that my shoulders are getting better! I'm so thankful for my therapists at Step n Spine and my medical team as well for being so supportive in helping me feel better 🥹 by @charcoaltuna

I was accidentally ambitious and walked further than I should have, tee-hee! The real problem was when I was heading back, I took the easy route and ended up far below where I should have been. I threw up after getting back up 🙂 I mean.. is it even a real hike if you haven't at least up-chucked once? Anyone? No? Just me? 😭

Anyhow.. it was awesome! We took our time and it felt amazing being out there. Probably why I was able to go further than I should have. Definitely recommend! There's a variety of hike options. Easy-ish, Challenger, Coule Die options being the only ones in my very unbiased opinion 😌 taken in Steelhead Falls by @charcoaltuna

It was just a silly video.. and yet I've found a community that actually talks, shares and relates to each other. People who I otherwise would have never known of. Individuals with their own unique sense of style, humor and life. Human beings who find themselves in odd and wonderful places. The beauty each of us sees on this earth keeps us honest, unruly to the core. Because it reminds us of our free will. Our burning desire to live and sometimes simply out of spite.

I found you. You found me. We found ourselves through each other, just as it was meant to be. Each of us has carved a space in this world we call our own and yearn and hope to share with those who know.

Who knows what it's like to be abandoned. Who knows what it's like to be forgotten. Who knows what it's like to be unloved.

Here, no one is left behind.
Here, everyone is remembered.
Here, love knows no bounds.

I've done 3 trails so far and this last one I had my bookbag with me. Bruh. I didn't fasten it properly and definitely was more of a challenge than before. Also my tip of the day is to listening to soothing music as you're going back cause anything else had my heart and lungs wanting to escape from my chest 😮‍💨 Went ahead and bought an annual pass while I was there, since my last one expired. Had to go back!! This time we were early enough to get daylight photos. We got to see 12 shooting stars before we went back home 😆 Worth it? OF COURSE! The sky was absolutely stunning! The amount of stars you can see.. it's just never ending! Highly recommend all #stargazer friends to visit when you're ever in #Oregon ! Hopefully one day I'll have a proper camera that will allow me to share the beautiful night sky with everyone here 🥹💕 taken in Dee Wright Observatory by @charcoaltuna
