We took the 🚂 from Austria to Italy. First stop, Venice 🛶 😍 To us, Venice had the BEST gelato of all the places we went in Italy 🍨 And yes, I highly recommend hiring a local photographer! Specifically @lemes_fotografia Layanne is amazing and so easy to be with!

🇦🇹 From Admont Abbey, we made our way to Bad Ischl—a beautiful little Austrian town that once served as a summer retreat for the Emperor & Empress. Anyone familiar with The Empress on Netflix? 👑

We stopped in Konditorei Zauner Confectionery, in operation since 1832. They were the official Imperial and Royal Court confectionery to the Emperor and Empress when they vacationed there. #austria Admont Monastery Library aka Belle’s library from Beauty and the Beast 😍 Built in 1776 and given the title, “The Eighth Wonder of the World”, it’s also the largest monastery #library hall in the world. The grounds were beautiful, surrounded by mountains, some snow capped, and a little lake with, wouldn’t you know it? #austria Part ✌🏽: From Hallstatt (which we def will be staying overnight the next time around) to #salzburg for Sound of Music, YKIYK. 🎶 I am sixteen going on seventeen 🎶 (+ 20 😆). This part of the trip was absolutely just for me, lol. I grew up on this film and it has stayed one of my favorites through the years.
