📍Osteria Pastella

Rounded up the trip with a recommendation from my friends @holliejakeway and @marrcallum and this was on another level.

I went for the truffle tagliatelle that was tossed in their own cheese wheel right in-front of you. Incredible display!
Topped off with their homemade Tiramisu.

Food was phenomenal, only down side was the pasta was as they say a “first course” so could have done with a tad more although, very creamy, very cheesy, very bloody good! Would recommend myself! Bravo 👏

Italy has been a food lovers dream. Will definitely be back in the future! Ciao 🇮🇹

📍 Buca Mario - Florence, Italy 🇮🇹

One hell of a start to my trip in Italy. We were recommended this place by an Italian friend who works with my girlfriend. So me being me I booked it last minute (an hour before it opened) not knowing that this was actually a Michelin Star restaurant!

Starters;
- Prosciutto with Parmesan flakes with rocket and a balsamic glaze

- Fresh creamy Burrata bruschetta with truffle and tomatoes

Mains;
Would be rude not to have a florentine steak when in Florence. Cooked only to rare so you know it’s done properly! I kid you not this was honestly the best steak I have ever had in my life and I’m not a rare steak kind of man. Served with a side of cubed roast potatoes that I think @feed_reggie would enjoy! 10/10.

- A creamy seafood spaghetti that looked absolutely incredible.

Two glasses of wine to compliment. Cheers 🍷

Service was great, staff were friendly and welcoming.

€175 + tip. (£165) can’t complain for such amazing food, and this is only the start.

Highly recommend ✅

Evening all.

Fancied something sweet so decided I’d make my own kinder cookie dough. I’ll be the first to admit I’m no baker but this sure did taste unbelievable with some ice cream to partner.

Hazelnut creme from M&S. Guilty pleasure.

Winter warmers ❄️

Baltic outside today, made a ‘Pork Pie’ as I’ll call it. Just a cottage pie with pork mince for a twist.

I added two golden egg yolks to my mash to give it a bit of jazzing up. Red Leicester cheese topped this off. Magnifique! 👨‍🍳 😘

Steak and eggs.

A delightful Thursday evening dinner right here.

I recently started using a 40,30,20 method by @thestefantorres to cook my steaks and it seems to work every time. Bosh.

40 seconds each, rest for 2 mins
30 seconds each side, rest for 2 mins
20 seconds each side, rest for 5 mins

Enjoy.
