Recently tried Black Ruby Creation and I ordered Black Ruby Hioney> 红宝石蜜冰茶 🧋

Cassia Black Tea + Honey 🍯 + Black Ruby Jewel

My review:

So refreshing, light, and deeply aromatic tea with unique honey sweetness. The jelly texture is smooth, pillowy, and chewy. My kids and I enjoyed so much 😋 satisfying. Will try other options soon.

Checked out a nice cozy coffeehouse cafe known for their sourdough/bakes and comfort food.

What I ordered:

🌶️🍝 Spicy seafood linguine > classic Italian aglio olio that has a spicy umami bomb!. This pasta is tossed in rich, prawn-noodle-style sauce with plump tiger prawns and crunchy squid> so satisfying 😋 highly recommend

🥐Buttery Shio Pan > buttery crisp crunch with a pillowy, soft and airy interior

🥐Hazelnut Rocher > Rich and chocolatey with Ferrero Rocher stuffed inside the bread.

Nothing beats exploring Sentosa before the night crowds kick in!

We started our evening adventures with great weather on the Disney Cruise Line trail. Seeing my kids’ faces light up when they spotted the giant 6-meter Baymax and other Disney installations made our day.

A Hidden Gem for Heritage Bakes!

I recently picked up a box of traditional Hainanese Su Yan Biang (酥盐饼) mooncakes 🥮 for the Mid-Autumn Festival from All Things Hainanese.

If you are tired of the usual overly sweet lotus paste mooncakes, you need to try this. The crust is beautifully thin and flaky, and the sweet-savoury filling is packed with complex aromatic flavors like sesame, shallots, and tangerine peel.

The packaging is also very lovely, elegant, and comes with very clear reheating and storage instructions. The service at the place was pleasant and smooth. Do supporti this local business if you want a taste of nostalgic heritage!

Checked in at Meatsmith on Telok Ayer Street, and if you love good BBQ, it’s definitely worth a visit. The place has a really cool, casual, industrial vibe. Today its our burgers’ day!

What we order:

🍔 Meatsmilth cheeseburger > The brisket patties have an incredible, deeply smoky crust and It’s juicy, cheesy

🍔 Pulled pork Burger > The pork is tender, heavily smothered in BBQ sauce, and has a great texture, though it can get a little messy to eat.

🍔 Classic cheeseburger (kid burger) > simple, juicy, and easy to finish for my kids

🍟 Fries > crispy crinket cut fries

🍨 Vanilla & chocolate > my kids love it

🍮 Chocolate lava cake > served warm with a perfectly gooey, molten chocolate center and ice cream. Heavenly

My review:

The “Pump” system dispenses an ultra-dense, ☁️ cloud-like foam that cleanses without friction or stripping my skin barrier. The foaming pump also saves time for my morning and nighttime routines. My skin feels smooth, soft, and moisturized with zero greasy residue or tightness. Nice scent too. Gentle and non irritation for my dry sensitive skin.

Overall: Clean fresh skin, zero tightness, just pure fluffy bliss 🩷

Teri’s Dessert Studio is a cozy takeaway bakery at The Promenade @ Pelikat. A friendly little hidden gem known for its wonderful, handcrafted sweets treats.

My review:

🌼Chrysanthemum Wildflower Honey:

A light, and refreshing flavor. The soothing floral of chrysanthemum pairs naturally with the gentle sweetness of wildflower honey. A beautiful, minimalist dessert.

🍓Strawberry Balsamic Baby Cup:

Made with fresh strawberries and rich mascarpone cheese, this cup balances natural berry tartness with a subtle balsamic tang. It looks so pretty.

🍹Welcome drink: so refreshing and thirst quencher

🍫 Double Chocolate Tart: (Not sponsored)

It’s rich, intense dark chocolate flavor. Deeply satisfying but not overly sweet, giving you a smooth and dark cocoa taste. Looks so elegant. The tart shell holds a perfectly smooth, chocolate filling that looks beautiful and modern..

Overall, the dessert cups are yummy and well loved by my kids. The chocolate tart is my favourite and so lucky I still can grab the last one home. Every bite is pure joy, we enjoyed all of them > so satisfying 😋
