Join us on Monday 10.19 for an evening of urban birding. From 4pm to 6pm we will adventure from Charis Listening Bar for a 1.5 hour walk through Bridgeport's Palmisano Park. Guided by Chicago bird experts from Windy City Bird Lab, we will learn all about urban birding and the spectacular flora and fauna of the park. After the walk, from 6:30 - 7:30pm, join us for a Bird Nerd Happy Hour featuring Grey Goose cocktails and a discussion on all we saw on our walk along with how to apply birding to your every day life.

One of our most common questions is who is spinning when there's no DJ? The answer is simple, it's us! Our team not only crafts tasty cocktails but we also love sharing music.

The Charis back bar cubbies are full of vinyl the team pulls from daily. No set genres or artists, unless they feel like it. Come to bar, ask them what they've been listening to lately and let a human curate your next music choice.

We are so very excited to welcome our Friends @pufferfishtiki into Charis on Tuesday 9.22.26. They'll be bringing a menu full of exciting tropical drinks from their Milwaukee rooftop hideaway. Swing in from 6pm til 10pm to try all their creations. Some of our first ever guests turned favorite regulars are taking over Charis! Tuesday August, 11 from 5pm - 9pm @madang.chi will bring their thought provoking, delicious, and just darn fun approach to cocktails to our little Bridgeport home.

What is Madang?

In Korean, “madang” means courtyard — a gathering place for food, drinks, and shared memory. Embracing this ethos Simon Yun and Michelle Lee transform familiar flavors like kimchi, honeydew, and goguma into intentional, balanced drinks inspired by Korean and Asian American dishes.

We spent last week hanging out with just a couple of our friends down in New Orleans for @tales_of_the_cocktail We had a goddamn blast bringing some midwest vibes to @valsnola and got to see so so many lovely people.
