Finally met the man behind most trusted matcha reviewer and matcha enthusiast, Hanif @hobi.matcha
My matcha journey started a year ago waktu lagi bolak-balik ke Jepang dan selalu dititipin @annisiabaehaki @ardhyaramadhanti matcha powder. Sebagai penikmat Muji premix Matcha, tentu gw mempertanyakan apa spesialnya matcha sampai beberapa matcha dealer membatasi pembelian until I bought one Marukyu Koyamaen Wako.
With 0 knowledge, gw mulai bikin matcha di rumah saat pulang kerja. Hanya bermodalkan chasen beli di donki dan mangkuk mie ayam, gw bikin matcha latte pertama. It failed miserably (of course, duh!), but I fell in love instantly. I am on my own world when I am whisking matcha. I find peace and solitude (if you know the nature of my daily work, you know…).
My Wako was running out dan gw mulai mencari matcha yg available di Tokped (I highly recommend @maicha.indo ). Di situ gw menemukan Mas Hanif. Beliau review banyak sekali matcha powder yang sungguh sangat komprehensif dan mendorong gw untuk mencari tau lebih lanjut tentang matcha. Cari tau bagaimana cara whisking, suhu yang tepat, cultivar yang gw suka, dsb.
So, it’s an honor for me to meet you, Mas! I learned a lot! Di workshop ini gw jadi lebih tau lebih banyak karena banyak sekali miskonsepsi info di luar sana. Thank you, mas!

Matcha hari ini
My fav ratio so far:
4gr matcha, I used Gokago Shin
40ml 72c water for whisking
120ml water + ice (feel free to use your fav milk)

So, I picked a new book and left the old one in the station. It has different storylines and I'm hoping for a less depressing ending.

Summer was over.
So, I heard your footsteps away as hurrying rustle crisp of leaves.
Maple leaves changed their colors. They dried and fell.
I never knew that dying could be as poetic and graceful as autumn can be.
