Big dreams start earlier than you think. The HBCU Crossover: College 101 is an interactive session designed to spark curiosity and confidence in our youth. In collaboration with Victory Family Church, students will explore the many pathways to higher education, discover what is possible for their future, and gain support from their community to pursue their dreams.

Through intentional conversations and real student experiences, kids of all backgrounds will be inspired to ask questions and see HBCUs as places where excellence, confidence, and purpose thrive. 💭📚

Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Charity Faith Edney, your 2025-2026 Miss College of Engineering and Architecture💙

I want to first thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He had equipped me with the ability and determination to run this race before I even knew I could. In my weakness, He is strong.

Thank you to my family and friends, who continue to pray for me and encourage me in all that I do. You were my inspiration and motivate me everyday to make you proud.

This journey has been like no other. The growth I have experienced both in myself and in the environment I have influenced thus far has been nothing but life-changing. I have learned to love my imperfections, challenge my ingenuity, and embrace difficulty with joy and courage.

It has been a privilege to meet and encourage the students within CEA. You all shine so brightly. Thank you for trusting me to be your next Miss, to be an advocate for the architecture community, and to be a leader that serves with grace and humility.

I’ve always had a voice, but now and forever I have the true blessing to use my voice to change lives. Let’s get to work.
