Sweat Blood & Tears. Today marks 1 whole year since we picked up the keys and began what turned out to be an incredible, immensely challenging and well executed transformation! what a year it has been, we’ve learned so much, moved to Bristol, became ‘vanners’, made friends for life and overcame some serious industrial unit struggles 😅 I’ve had so much fun with these two in the past 12 months, and everybody who saw the potential and joined us crazies. They said we couldn’t do it, so we did it👏🏻 Sri Lanka next, and after 10 months we have upgraded our home on wheels 🚚 to one with bricks and mortar 👶🏻 I can’t wait for our Sri Lankan adventure to begin 🗺 Thank you for all of the amazing support the last 12 months, you know who you are 🖤 I’m so proud of us all! by @charleejunehill

Bodhi It’s been 4 months and I have never felt so alive. Because of you baby I have a new found courage, and heaps of self belief. Because of you I have so much determination and conviction. The beginnings of a Tea Garden, starting with Spearmint🌱
The weather was shining over the allotments today, March is here 🌞It’s wild to me that I gave birth in December and we’re already in March. Our local Community Gardner, George let us start off the Tea Garden and Bodhi lead with such focus today, I think the vitamin D contributed to that. We had also had a busy morning blowing off steam in the woods earlier in the morning with @yeovaleforestschool 🌳 Just before we headed home bodhi held a Sloe Worm who was living in and around the tomato bed inside the polytunnel, Bodhi enjoyed having a proper look before she put him back into the warm soil. We have been volunteering on Mondays for a while now, we only contribute a tiny portion of work but we feel like part of the team and I think it’s such an important part of our Home Education, and honestly, I would no doubt fail to keep my own plot alive so this is the perfect scenario for us beginners 🤭 🫣

Our Mondays unfold slowly. am: Forest school @yeovaleforestschool pm: our local community allotment 🍄

Crafting, wondering, stories, muddy boots, hammock swings… leading with curiosity, learning as we go, together.

There’s something about starting the week under trees instead of ceilings.

Indeed it did rain, it was a wet one, but that’s nothing a perfectly soft boiled eggy dip dip won’t fix. Perfect.

We’ve shifted reality tunnels.
Somewhere along the way, we bought a house in the mountains of Madeira — São Vicente, Portugal — which now exists simultaneously as a building, a project, and an ongoing experiment.

It’s a big undertaking, so for the moment we’re running a 50/50 model: part here, part elsewhere, while we renovate, build, and see what the universe does with the plan. Full-time Madeira comes later, assuming consensus reality cooperates.

I’ll still be working at Samsara, and popping up in Barcelona, Berlin, and Ireland, because movement seems to be how things stay alive.

We’ll be posting a progress diary as we go — observations, updates, minor miracles, possible glitches. by @charleejunehill

Just want to say a massive thanks to big Chaz for an amazing time travelling the last 8weeks. Covered some serious mileage and seen a thousand sights! She's the perfect travel companion and muma. An absolute belter. She inspires me to live this way and collect experiences not things. Together we are trying to give Bodhi-Hunter a life enriched with travel, culture, freedom. She will be homeschooled and taught about the more important things in life. She might end up being a proper weirdo but that's better than being another cog in the machine. It's a dream life we have and we're so lucky to be living this experience. Recognise life is a dream and dream lucid. Be the hero of your story.
