Blood clots
I've survived 4 incidents.1998 was my first experience. Being 23, & pregnant with my first child, of course I was terrified! At first I thought that it was gas. A trip to the ER revealed it was 3 clots in my left lung. In 2003 a year after having my 2nd child episode 2 occurred. I had one in each lung and in my calve. I was then placed on permanent blood thinners. 2009 3rd, pregnancy & 3rd episode! It was only 1 in my calve. 2017 episode 4 almost took me OUT!! Discharged after a 3 day hospital stay due to surgery, 12 hrs later I was transported to the ER via medic. I was a code blue!! This time it was several clots in BOTH lungs, & clots extending from my groin down to BOTH calves,ohhh but GOD!!
I share my story because millions didn't make it, but I did! Blood clots, p
Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) no matter how you refer to it, the fact still remains that this is a silent killer. We don't hear about it until it happens in our own backyard. I'm thankful that God kept me!! No pitty party over here!! I'm turning my pain into a purpose! #Humbled #makingmydashcount

Late post! Actually a whole 45 days late! 🤣🤣
However, our niece and nephew invited us to their shower in MS. In a world full of nut baskets we took a chance and we are locked in! Congratulations your little Cookie Monster has entered the world!
