WORLD RECORD FOR CHARLES!! 🥁

While warming up for the @redbullitalia Qualifier this morning, @charlesbrodel 🇫🇷 has just recorded the highest kite jump EVER - 37.17m!!

Charles was flying the (yet to released) 8m @fonekites Banger QuadX, a kite he’s developed over the past two years. The 6x Big Air Foil World Champ was riding the F-ONE Escape 430 foil, Pocket Carbon 120 foilboard, with a 85cm mast.

Porto Pollo, Sardinia 🇮🇹 has been blasted yesterday and today by a cold Mistral wind coming down from France, gusting over 40kts as it compresses over the beach in Porto Pollo.

@andrea_principi04 🇮🇹 has been the host this week welcoming everyone to the competition site for the first time, and Charles credits him with the tip on where to find the magic gusts at the spot.

The World Record was previously held by Hugo Wigglesworth 🇳🇿36.66m in Wellington, NZ. Hugo’s record stood for 412 Days.
