To know Christ; to make Him known

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This post is NOT AFFILIATED WITH FUGE CAMPS.
I just realized that I've made multiple posts about SLA but never explained what that is. I truly have so much love for this program!

SLA is FUGE's student leader apprenticeship program. It is a two-week leadership program for anyone who has completed 11th or 12th grade (you apply after completing 10th or 11th grade).

During week one, you will experience FUGE as a camper with the rest of your SLA group, participating in MFUGE, CFUGE, leadership development, trust initiatives, and other activities to grow as a group.

Week two, your SLA lead will pair you up with a M/CFUGE staffer who you will spend the week with. Your staffer will instruct you and allow you to lead camp activities such as rec games and debriefs.

I participated in SLA this summer and last, and I can truly say that those were some of the most instructive and impactful weeks of my life. This program helped me grow in my love with Christ, grow as a leader, and opened the door to so many incredible friendships. I cannot overstate how much I recommend this program! by @charlesguidry1

What an incredible end to SLA!

I am so incredibly proud of these “maniacs.” At the beginning of the week I was nervous to be in a middle school Bible study, but these kids made it easy. I love each and every one of you so much!

I am so thankful to Collin for being such a great leader to me this week. God truly had a plan placing us together at this specific time, and I’m so grateful to have learned so much from him.

Finally, thank you to my church group for welcoming me in and loving me so much. Y’all were so wonderful! taken in Union University by @charlesguidry1

What an incredible first week of SLA! I've loved getting to know each and every one of my SLiblings, and I'm so excited and expectant to see what God has planned for us next week!

If you are interested in staffing at FUGE or want to learn how to be a better Christian leader, then I cannot recommend the FUGE SLA program enough.

Also, I have been so incredibly blessed to have Morgan as my SLA lead these two years. I am so thankful for all she has done to pour into me and prepare me to lead.

Finally got around to making a grad post.

I am so thankful to this school for being my home for the last 12 years and for all the friendships I have made here. I'm sad that my time at Silliman has come to an end, but I always knew this day would come. At the same time, I am so excited to take this next step, and I feel that this community has prepared me, spiritually and mentally, to face whatever God has in store.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to everyone who has encouraged and supported me thus far.

Finally, I would have nothing and be nothing without my father in heaven. I owe every step, every moment, and every accomplishment to Him. taken in Silliman Institute by @charlesguidry1
