Thank you, Julianna Devaney, for taking us on a tour through Charleston Stage’s Costume Shop. From glitter maintenance methods to organizing the unique pieces that help our actors transform into their characters on stage, it's incredible to see the work behind the on-stage magic.

For our current show, Broadway Bound, many of the dresses are vintage from the 1940s, while others are crafted by our talented designers. Come see Broadway Bound on select nights from now until November 1st!

Meet Tre Butcher, one of our incredible resident actors, playing the protagonist in Broadway Bound!

“Theatre’s always been a safe space for me, like therapy, getting to be on stage and embodying someone completely different than myself. Telling a story and helping an audience get lost in the story.”

Coming full circle after auditioning for one of his first roles in the first play in Neil Simon’s Trilogy, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Tre brings Neil Simon’s sharp wit and tender characters to life again in Broadway Bound, the final play in the trilogy.

Come see Tre as Eugene Jerome live on Dock Street Theatre’s stage, starting tonight, October 14th through November 1st!
