Business cards finally are in! @daniellerusselldesign worked closely with the letterpress legend @hammerpress to create something beautifully detailed and precise; also working with the brand ethos developed with @willlsssooonn . I’m so grateful to be surrounded by expert creatives who help me elevate to the next level. by @charlie_architect
I tried to hate on the floating Heatherwick when it was built, but was promptly put in my place seeing it in person. Incredible landscape design, great views, tons of little pockets and alternative routes to discover. Way bigger than I realized. 10/10 by @charlie_architect
Site visits, etc. Some projects just getting concrete, others getting casework dialed. Fun to see the trades out here doing great work for my clients. by @charlie_architect

Progress in Leawood w/ Ambassador Homes and @sidandcompany by @charlie_architect
Getting closer every day on this Mission Hills renovation/ addition. The existing home had lost its original charm with various exterior changes from different eras - nothing was unified except the shutters that didn’t shut. We’ve carefully added and subtracted, flushing up beams, bumping out and carving into the home to let in more light and connect spaces. Grateful for an awesome team of collaborators: @ashdrivedesign , @gahaganeddy , and @gtechautomationmw by @charlie_architect

This place is a real journey by @charlie_architect
Proud to be a small piece in the puzzle of redeveloping Mill Street in Westport. Years ago KC paved over an active creek, and for years the flooding was real. Now the entire street has been redone with an epic amount of culvert. This building, originally built for ice storage and distribution, sits right along Mill Street and is the first new business to open. I had a hell of a time getting accessibility and restroom compliance to work - it’s a mess of level changes and irregular structure. I honestly love that stuff. So much of commercial work requires dealing with tough restrictions creatively. Once the template is set the space can truly flex for different uses. The owner eventually found a solid tenant to finish out the space for a club - looking forward to coming back when they’ve got it bumpin’. by @charlie_architect
