WOW… it’s been a while.
I won’t pretend I’m not nervous — this is the biggest leap I’ve made in my career. To every person I’ve treated, worked with, learned from, and connected with — I’ve missed you. You’ve shaped this journey more than you know.
Life showed up fully. And so did I. Through illness, loss, single motherhood, deep grief, and rebuilding, I learned how to ask for help, how to listen to my body, and how to care for myself the same way I’ve always cared for others. That changed everything.
I’m proud of the woman I’ve become. Proud to be a mum to my beautiful boy, Billy. Grateful for healing, perspective, my scars, and what they represent. Grateful for the team and community who stood beside me. Grateful for the journey — because the journey is the gift.
After 20 years in beauty and wellness, I stepped away to truly live the work — not just teach it. What I learned shaped a new vision: a smarter, more human way to care for our bodies, minds, and energy — from the inside out.
We’ve been taught to perfect the surface. I chose to rebuild the foundation. To heal what’s felt deeply. To accept, love, and nurture every part of myself — and discover the beauty that was always there.
This is me stepping back into the world — healthier, grounded, disciplined, confident — and launching something deeply personal.
This isn’t a comeback — it’s an arrival. Built with intention. Led with heart. Lived fully.
This is just the beginning. And I’d love you to walk with me.

October is World Mental Health Month 🤍
This is probably one of the most personal and vulnerable things I’ve ever shared, but if sharing my story helps even one person feel less alone, then it’s worth it.

This week has been an incredibly difficult one. On the 14th October, it marked one year since I lost my partner, Luke. One year since my world changed forever.

There have been days when simply getting through the day has felt like the biggest achievement. And one thing I’ve learnt is that life doesn’t stop when your world does. The responsibilities, the work, the expectations — they don’t just disappear, even when you’re struggling to find your feet.
And that is something that has stayed with me.

It’s also one of the reasons behind launching Bodhial.
Supporting our Beauty & Wellness professionals in running their businesses and if not more importantly the person behind the business too.
A community where people can be open about the realities of running a business alongside everything else life brings.
Because we never really know what someone else is going through.
If this year has taught me anything, it’s that you don’t always have to be strong, you don’t have to have all the answers, and it’s okay to ask for help.
Grief isn’t linear. Healing doesn’t have a timeline. And strength isn’t always about pushing through — sometimes it’s about recognising when you need someone beside you.
Be kind. Be present. And remember, there’s always a person behind the business. 🤍

WHO KNEW A WALK AND A TALK WITH YOUR TRIBE COULD FEEL LIKE THIS?! 🥹🩷
Our very first Bodhial Net-Walking event…. and honestly, my heart is FULL!
The rain had other plans for the walking part 😂☔️ so we found ourselves at Pear Tree Café in Battersea Park. What followed was FIVE HOURS of conversations, laughter, sharing ideas, encouraging each other and feeling understood.
There was so much generosity in that room. People sharing what they’ve learnt, opening up about what’s hard and helping each other see what’s possible. I came away buzzing — and judging by the conversations, I wasn’t the only one! ✨
THIS is what we always believed Bodhial could be. And seeing our members bring it to life is more emotional than I can put into words.
To everyone who has signed up so far, THANK YOU. We feel so blessed by how quickly this tribe is growing, and even more grateful for the incredible people choosing to be part of it. You bring the warmth, the wisdom, the honesty and the energy. You are making Bodhial everything we hoped it would become. 🫶🏽

There’s something about working for yourself that people don’t always see. ❤️💫
The freedom is wonderful. Being your own boss, making your own decisions and building something you’re proud to call yours.
But there are days when you wish you had someone to bounce an idea off. Someone who understands the pressures, the responsibility and those little moments of self-doubt.
I’ve been there.
Over 20 years of working for myself in the beauty industry has taught me so much, but one of the biggest things I’ve learnt is just how important it is to have good people around you.
People you can learn from, laugh with, ask questions and occasionally have a good old moan with! 😂
And that’s a huge part of why I’ve created Bodhial.
I want independent beauty therapists and wellness practitioners to feel part of something.
A community where we can share our knowledge, encourage each other, keep raising our professional standards and celebrate each other’s wins.
Where asking for help feels as natural as offering it.
And where building a successful business doesn’t mean sacrificing your own happiness along the way.

What a day. What an industry. And what a reminder of why we started. 🙌🏼🤍
Pro Beauty, you were wonderful to us!
There’s something really special about walking into a room filled with people who have been part of your journey, some you haven’t seen for years, and picking up conversations as though no time has passed.
So many beautiful souls, familiar faces, warm hugs, wonderful memories and some really exciting new connections. And a few conversations that could turn into something rather special for the future of Bodhial. ✨
What blew us away was just How warmly Bodhial was received.
Because when you’ve poured so much of your heart, your experience and your belief into creating something, there’s always that little wobble feeling 😥
Our industry is full of extraordinary people. But extraordinary people need somewhere to feel supported, too.
Behind every treatment, every beautiful business, every successful therapist is a human being with dreams, doubts, ambitions and challenges that the outside world doesn’t always see.
And the conversations we had made one thing very clear.
The appetite for something different is there. The need is real. And people are ready for it.

When did building this career become so exhausting?

There’s a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from caring deeply about what you do.
You spend years learning how to hold space for other people.
You learn how to listen between the words. How to sit with uncertainty. How to notice what others miss. How to keep showing up when someone else is struggling.
And then, somehow, you’re expected to know what to do when it comes to you.
Your money. Your boundaries. Your visibility. Your workload. Your confidence. Your career.
No wonder it can feel overwhelming.
Because being a brilliant therapist doesn’t automatically teach you how to create a working life that feels good to live inside.
And I think we need to talk about that more.
Not because therapists aren’t capable. Not because you need fixing. But because you deserve support too.
Support that understands the person behind the practitioner. The ambition alongside the empathy. The business alongside the vocation. And the human who sometimes just wants someone else to say, “You don’t have to work this out alone.”
That’s the kind of conversation I want Bodhial to be part of. 🤍

Behind every number in this carousel is a real person.
A therapist who has invested in their training.
A therapist who has taken the risk of going self-employed.
A therapist who is building a business, looking after clients, managing the admin, paying the bills and often carrying the emotional weight of it all too.
And I think we need to talk more about that.
Because we can celebrate how big and successful this industry is, but we also need to ask:
Are we doing enough to look after the people who make it what it is?
Our therapists deserve more than recognition when the industry is thriving.
They deserve support when business feels hard.
They deserve better education, better guidance, better infrastructure and somewhere to turn when they don’t know what to do next.
Because behind every successful beauty business is a person.
And that person matters.
If we genuinely want this industry to grow, we have to make sure the people within it are supported enough to grow with it. ❤️
This is about caring for our therapists as much as we care about the industry itself.
Because we cannot build a stronger industry by expecting the people at the heart of it to carry everything alone.
