It’s been a hot minute since I last posted. Life has gone thru some twists and turns. The journey of grieving, healing after my younger sister Patricia’s passing. When @michaeldevellis & @jvincentmakeup were asking me if I would like to come back to speak at The Artist Summit, I wasn’t so sure if I could pull that off. I was at a pretty rock bottom state. But with their encouragement and support, I am here just gave this speech about “Crossroads To Calling” on this 12-step of hero’s journey. Thank you everyone for giving me the space to be raw and share my story. I am back. New development and new pivoting were also begin to unfold now. I will rebuild my life and business in front of you. It’s gonna be a messy launch. But I think being a perfectionist my whole life is tiresome. Fuck it. With a room full of amazing makeup artists to hold myself accountable to begin my return to social media, I am getting out of my extended monk mode to stay silent. Alright guys. Good to be back for a new beginning! by @charliewantv

It was very last minute. My friend Stephanie Flor called if I could join her in Morocco. Initially I turned it down because of my schedule. But somehow all stars aligned and then over a week later I was on the ground witnessing her launch of the very first female guided beauty ritual tour in Marrakech. Her company Around The World Beauty @atwbeauty explore rituals, definitions, practices of beauty around the world. Other than my usual filming assignment of this journey, we had a very powerful coaching session to deep dive into the mission and purpose that goes beyond the original vision. Steph, you are a power house in making. Can’t wait to see your incredible vision that being built in front of our eyes!!⁣

It’s been 4 days since we touched down in Marrakech. The itinerary has been nonstop to collaborate with my dear friend Stephanie’s first beauty tour @atwbeauty with @visit_morocco_ in this insane and insanely beautiful city. More to come. Need a nap first! Be right back :)
