My heart is full after some incredibly rewarding volunteer work with the amazing team at @cycling4change. This organization is truly making a difference, tirelessly dedicated to raising funds and awareness to combat human trafficking and empower survivors. I had the profound privilege of participating in a powerful symposium hosted by @NorthwellHealth. It was an invaluable experience, bringing together critical voices from law enforcement, community-based organizations, and incredibly brave survivors. The event was transformative and reinforced the vital importance of collective action. Our recent golf outing raising funds for C4C’s mission was also a tremendous success. I was overwhelmed by the generosity shown, and am grateful to have been able to bring in donations and prizes valued at over $13,000 to contribute to the event’s impact. Speaking of impactful events, please mark your calendars! C4C’s highly anticipated #HOPEFEST is coming up on October 3rd. Please stay tuned for registration details as we’ll be sharing more information very soon. So grateful for the opportunity to work with @cycling4change. Working alongside such passionate individuals, learning from survivors, and witnessing the strength of community action has been a gift. Let’s keep working towards a world free from trafficking. Together, we can provide hope to marginalized communities, and break the cycle of modern-day slavery. #Cycling4Change #EndHumanTrafficking #AntiHumanTrafficking #NorthwellHealth by @charlisoleil
