sun-kissed and SO happy 🌞✨🌊🐚🌅

*if you can’t tell, I love love love nature and love love love existing at the same time as all of it :)) by @charlotte.explores_

there is so much power in kindness 🌻
it makes the earth a better place for everyone to exist 🌎

and although there is the capacity for so much cruelty and suffering by the hands of those who have forgotten what it means to be kind

there is far more good. far more love and compassion in this world than we realise 🫶🏻

the year of saying yes -well actually… 6 months.

At the start of 2025 I broke my foot & was out of anything while it healed. SO many plans for year had to be put aside - health comes first.
BUT as soon as I was out of the cast & had lotss of physio, I went out on my first hike of the year, in June.

Although I had spent half the year out of action, I was DETERMINED to make the most of the rest of 2025 & that’s exactly what I did. I chose to say YES. to EVERYTHING.

Since then I have:
• gone on MANY solo hikes 🥾
• found a love for wild swimming (anywhere with water & I’ll go in, no matter how cold) 🥶
• wild camped in the Brecon Beacons ⛺️
• went on my first of many group hikes 🌱
• walked to wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
• spent countless mornings in forests 🌲
• cowboy camped on the summit of Pen Y Fan (that was the coolest) ⛰️
• went on a group trip to Snowdonia for 5 days with complete strangers & met the wonderful @issy.outside & so many more 🙌🏻
• swam in MANY beautiful waterfalls 🏊🏼‍♀️
• watched some INCREDIBLE sunsets 🌅
• felt the sand beneath my toes 🌊
• scrambled Tryfan in 40mph winds (at some points 50 - safety was top priority)
• wild camped in Ogwen Valley & woke up to the sunrise 🌄
• ANOTHER wild camp in Buttermere 🌀
• hiked up Haystacks in torrential rain & slept in a bothy during a storm ⛈️
• climbed trees & boulders 🧗🏼‍♀️
• spent pretty much every weekend outdoors exploring 🌱
• welcomed autumn with open arms & leaned into loving myself more than I ever have before 🫶🏻

The list carries on & I am SO grateful for the life changing opportunities I have had so far, the memories I have made & the gift of being on this earth to experience it ALL 🌍

The support I have had from all of you as well on this amazing journey so far has been incredible & I am so thankful for all of it.

I cannot WAIT to see what 2026 has in store for all of us.. I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one 🤩

so this is your sign to start saying YES, do things that get you out of your comfort zone (I promise you won’t regret it) & do what brings you joy🌻

the mountains in the outdoor world are SO incredibly beautiful and bold and it is a testament to what the Earth has created in this big wonderful universe 🌍

I’ve not even seen a full handful of the mountains that are out there, but every time I’m in awe… and when I take on the climb of Kilimanjaro with @verticalskytzw I have no doubt that feeling will be something I never forget 🏔️

I firmly believe that learning to love yourself and taking the time to find out who you are is one of the greatest gifts we have been given.

Every time you give yourself grace for a mistake you made, every time you speak to yourself with kindness or soothe yourself in times of sadness or anger, you are giving yourself that care you deserve.

The process of creating a life that fills up your soul with joy is and will never be straightforward, there will be challenges that test you, moments of uncertainty and times you may lose yourself for a little while..

But on my own healing journey I’m noticing something that comes back each time.. that spark keeps reigniting stronger, that light is always there even if you can’t always see it, deep in your soul you can feel it. And that’s hope ✨

Hope for the future, hope for the life you deserve and the moments that make you feel ALIVE 🌞

So I hope you soak up every single one of those moments, those that make you catch your breath seeing a sunset or the quiet of watching a ladybird walk across your hand. The sounds of the sea crashing against the rocks and the feeling of sand on your toes. 🐚🌊

Because what an extraordinary GIFT it is that we are alive right now to experience it all. The sunshine, the rain, the wind and the trees, the earth under us floating like stardust in a whole universe full of possibilities 🌌🌟
