Have you made it to the end of the song yet? The part where the title finally makes sense. ✨ #newmusic #newmusicalert #singlerelease #indiepop #charlymae by @charlymae_
Meant to Find Out. 🥹 It’s here! This one is for everyone who changed themselves for others. Who people-pleased and eventually had to find out that it’s enough. That you were enough, all along. From: “lived most of my life through the eyes of men. Shifting shapes. Hell, I’m not changing again.” To: “live most of my life now, fueled by desire. If you will light me up, but I will burn my own fire.” 🤸🏼‍♀️ We’ve been asked what this song is about. For us, it’s not so much about telling our own story. It’s about what this song means to you. How it connects to your life and your own experiences. We’d love for you to give it a listen and share it with your people. And if you feel like it, tell us what this song means to you. We’d love to hear your stories. 🖤 ‘Meant to Find Out’ is out now on all streaming platforms! Big thanks to @kleinsoundworks for doing an amazing job of mixing and mastering our song. #newmusic #newmusicalert #newmusicfriday #indiepop #singlerelease by @charlymae_
We’ve been playing this song for a while now, and somehow this part still hits every time. 🖤 Can’t believe we get to share this song with you tomorrow! It’s been a long time coming. And we’re even more excited to hear what this song might mean to you, and what parts of your own story you might find in it. A little more of ‘Meant to Find Out’. by @charlymae_
We are counting down the release of our song ‘Meant to find out’ 🖤 Using our own childhood VHS videos for this song just felt right. 🙂‍↕️ Looking back at old memories hits a little differently when you know what you know now. We’ve been working on this song for a while, and tomorrow we finally get to share it with you! ‘Meant to Find Out’ 23.10 by @charlymae_
Bits of melodies, half-finished lyrics, questionable voice notes and the first moments of something that actually started to sound like our new song. Usually, we head up to Arianne’s attic, spend hours trying out sounds, tweaking melodies, building layers and recording it. And every now and then, we ask each other: is this really the feeling we want to get across? If not, we adjust and try again. We love it 😊 It’s always fun to look back at where a song started and see how much it changed along the way. We’re happy to give you a few little pieces of the song already, leading up to the release. 🫶🏼 23.10 by @charlymae_

New year, new MUSIC ✨ We’ve been living with this song for the past year. Writing it, shaping it, and making sure it hits the feeling just right. Now it’s almost time to share it with you. Different from Along the Way, it has more energy, more movement, and is still very much us. Edgy, liberating, and a bit rebellious. Are you ready to take on the city with us? The City Is Mine Again - January 16th 🔗 Pre-save via link in bio Available on Spotify and other platforms by @charlymae_
