After hours of work, reflection and dedication… I can finally say … I’m a published author at the age of 21 🥹✍️

The article, “Exploring Occupational Justice of Black University Students in the UK,” is officially out now in The Human Occupation & Wellbeing Journal (HOWJ).

This piece is deeply personal to me. It sheds light on the lived experiences of Black students across the UK and the occupational injustices they face within education, an issue that deserves to be seen, understood and acted upon.

For someone who achieved average GCSEs and CCD at A-levels, this moment is proof that setbacks are not sentences and that purpose cannot be cancelled. As the only Black student and the youngest person on my university cohort, my journey was not been easy. In my final year, I failed a 10 week placement, a moment that could have ended everything. Instead, it refined me.

At just 21 years old, I am proud to say that I am the first graduate and published author in my family.

Not everyone is called to the pulpit. Some are called to build systems that carry love. So when God calls you to ministry, it often starts with simple obedience. My calling was given to me at 14 and I’ve continued to obey God’s commands!

This is our first outreach of the year and we have expanded to Zambia 🇿🇲

21 pairs of shoes.
21 bags.
Seeds planted in faith.

Ministry isn’t about visibility it’s about availability.
And this year, we’re saying yes again.

Officially the first graduate in my family!

Graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy is a milestone I’ll always be proud of. Thank you Jesus, for making this possible and thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged and believed in me throughout this journey.

I often get asked, “Charmaine, what motivates you?” Truth is, walking in my God given purpose motivates me. Today we were able to provide 10 girls with the stationery they need to study and learn in Zambia. Outside of this, I have a heart that gives. Giving is not just something I do it is part of who I am. This has never been about charity work for me, it’s my heart posture, and by God’s grace, I won’t stop giving!

My name is Charmaine Tinarwo, and when I was just 14 years old, I felt a clear calling from God to start a charity that would feed and educate children in Zimbabwe. I wanted to make sure no child was ever held back by hunger or lack of education.

Through the help of teachers, family, friends, and sponsors, that small dream has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. By God’s grace, I have been able to donate over 100 reading books, provide more than 600 meals, pay school fees for 20 children, distribute over 600 sanitary pads, and support families in the UK through baby and food banks.

In October 2025, I was blessed to pay school fees for six primary school children — a reminder of exactly why I started this journey. Now, at 21 years old, I am a newly qualified Occupational Therapist and aspiring Professor, but my purpose has always been to serve others through education, equity, and compassion.

I pray that God continues to use me to make a difference, one child at a time. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. To seven years of grace and a lifetime of serving the Lord and His people 🥹❤️

Charmaine is the Founder & CEO of CFutur3 Charity, C meaning Chiedza (light) from the beautiful age of 14. She has impacted many young girls in Zimbabwe for 7 years, paying school fees, providing sanitary items, food and treats at the Tariro Orphanage, ZW. She has supported food banks within the UK, inspiring young women to make a change and take the first step.

I’m only 21 but I’m really trying to do my part in this world.

This afternoon, I paid school fees for six children.Some are orphans, some have parents who just can’t afford their schooling and some are bright students who were about to be sent home due to lack of funds.

The fees are $35 per term (about £28) — such a small amount, but it makes a massive difference in their lives.

This was my last project of 2025, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the year. ❤️

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that we can do so much more together. Let’s keep helping the younger generation get the education and opportunities they deserve.

7 years of @cfutur3
7 years of following God’s plan for my life.
7 years of dedication.
7 years of commitment.

This season marks 7 years since I founded my charity, cfutur3. At just 14 years old, I received a clear calling to create an organisation on that would feed and educate the children of Zimbabwe. This year we threw a Barbecue to celebrate our 7 years of grace.

None of this would’ve been possible without the unwavering support of our incredible sponsors. Thank you for believing in the vision and helping bring it to life!
