Now that I had some time to find some much better pictures… happy birthday to my husband! We are always so busy taking photos of the kids we hardly get any of ourselves 😂. I forgot to run the video while I started my set up, and also forgot to do a quick video of where I stopped. Got a whole lot done since I am really only setting up part of the room and also had a lot that is being taken out of the room that was “extra” aka this was a store all room lol. Moved a few things in my new room, made some mental notes of where to put things… now I need to begin the hard work of setting up the room! Also, I have an Amazon wish list going currently! It is mostly incentive things for students this year for myself, to give to the new teachers to use in their classes when I meet with them as part of my job, and my aides to use when we have small groups, as well as a few things for my new room. While it is not as extensive as in the past, anything would help me greatly and I would appreciate anything… ❤️❤️❤️ even reposting this list helps! I hope everyone has a wonderful first day back when you are in your rooms again! I’ll post some set up videos as I set up, I love seeing the progress. I’m finally done. Also, I made sure to re-use bins I already had so I didn’t spend money organizing. Emma did go through a lot of the things and I already dropped off a load at Salvation Army just from the playroom. I have one bin left I want to add to the closet with the stuffies for Christmas. All in all, I feel super accomplished. I will be buying two small tubs to organize the kid’s school stuff the kept, but they will be minimal bins because I am not going to make my poor kids take a huge bin of all their work when they get older lol. #organization #summercleaning #teachersofinstagram by @charmingteacher06

To my husband, I’m thankful I found you. I wanted to take a moment to recognize the fact that you always put in that extra time with the kids that I know they won’t forget when they are older. The cold nights and hot days in the sun for soccer. The half days at work to take the photos at award ceremonies, the weekends that have slowly been taken over by sports and talking about secretly loving every minute. Our kids never wonder where they stand with you, they know they are loved and you would do anything for them. You millennial dad SO HARD and I love watching it. This was after about an hour and a half. Emma will now have to do some separating and organizing. I will also be doing some bin organizing. I think this is the worst it’s ever been in the play room. Soccer 4 to 5 days a week or more as well as after school things for me personally made this room a store all and follow through on making the kids accountable was non existent. Also, the keypad doesn’t actually work lol the kids got a kick out of it when Eric found a fake one on amazon and they had to have it. They still put the passcode in to this day and make sounds like it’s actually working 😆😂🤣. #cleaning #summercleanup #teachersofig #messyroom #organization by @charmingteacher06

To all my fellow teachers… please tell me I am not alone in shoving things into all the nooks and crannies of my house till I have time to go through it. 🤣 This is my post to keep me accountable and also sober me up to the realization this is how my house looks after neglecting areas for the last month or two because of work, soccer, and life in general. I’ll be posting as I clean the areas over the next few weeks. I’d also like to shout out and appreciate my family and friends who may recognize some of these items from my past Amazon Wish lists.
