I've been wanting to share some music I've been loving since getting a record player. So this is me trying a new format. Let's gooooo

I think this is my current fav song from this taiwanese band. Slappin bass, synthy magic and bonus triangle in the drum kit haha

They also have a 10min ver of this song on yt with a really nice sax solo 🙂‍↕️

Clever lyrics matching the vinyl format: "Just like a record spinnin’ ’round. It’s playing now." Raw, intentional punctuation with moments of silence, which intensifies into this ambient electric sound. So cool 🥺

Unfortunately, it’s not available on spotify, but you can find it on yt

This vinyl (and player!!) was a gift from jw's sister, and we thought our player was broken because of the many silences thrown into the first song. 🤣🤣

Flowy piano intro that turns into funky J-pop. The highlight for me is the bamboo flute bit and weaving pentatonic scales that give it that Japanese folk feel. So special!!

The best for last.

The cello sounds like it's crying, but beautifully. Like those Korean dramas where a single teardrop falls perfectly on one side. No notes. by @charnamnam
