As this first pic was taken in Barbados, we were suppose to be at our @supportyourgirlfriends Atlanta event.Delayed then Cancelled flights. 8 hours at the airport. Longggg airport lines. Next flight offered 3 days later. A chaotic travel day reminds you how much having the right people around you matters. The laughter was louder than the stress. Closing out a sweet and fabulous 5 day retreat with our Glossy Posse.And God showed out with a night at the @wyndhamgrandbarbados all inclusive thanks to @delta. Look at you making it through the first half of the year!If celebrating yourself feels uncomfortable, this is for you.Many of us were taught to celebrate everyone else while quietly moving on from our own wins.Here are 6 ways to honor your progress✨ 1. Create a “Receipts” album. Screenshot compliments, client wins, promotions, thank-you notes, and milestones. Read it on hard days.✨ 2. Schedule a reminder and Write down three wins every Friday. They don’t have to be huge. Sent the email. Asked for the opportunity. Finished the workout. Progress counts.✨ 3. Buy yourself the flowers. Or the coffee. Or card. Stop waiting for permission to celebrate. I love stationary and now buy myself birthday cards. And yes I sign them. ✨ 4. The next time someone compliments you, don’t explain it away or minimize it. Say “thank you” and stop there.✨ 5. Share one win publicly each week. Not to impress people. To inspire them and practice owning your story. You can practice now in the comments.✨ 6. Start a celebration list of non-monetary and items that you want to enjoy when you achieve milestones.
