Wow. I can’t believe my time as a Baylor Orientation and Line Camp Leader is over. This job truly meant everything to me. Being able to introduce new students into a place I hold so dear to my heart was truly a dream come true.
Thank you to every single person at Baylor NSP for working SO hard to make sure that all of these students had the best experience!! Not only that, but also pouring into all of the other leaders consistently!!! To my cohort leader Meg, thank you for leading us so well.
Special Shoutout to my 242 leader @jaden_evans20 Y’all don’t understand how much he did for us behind the scenes!! He is such a great friend and supporter to others, and one of the most kind and thoughtful people I know! Thank you Jaden, for pouring into us so well, and encouraging us always! You are the best 242 leader we could have ever asked for.
I am so thankful for all of the leaders that I got to work with this summer. Guys, thank you for making me feel so appreciated and seen! All of your kind words made me feel so fulfilled, and I am so thankful for each and every one of you!! You all are an answered prayer, and I can not wait to dwell in community with y’all!! You don’t understand how much y’all mean to me!!!
To Cannon’s Kids, The Team, The Cannon’s, The Cannonballs, and The Grand Cannons(kaboom),and the snuggles(iykyk), you all are WHY I wanted to do this job. Getting to see each and every one of you grow in such a short amount of time, and become excited to come back to Baylor meant EVERYTHING to me. Each and every one of you 53 now mean so much to me. I really enjoyed being able to lead you and pour into you. Thank you for allowing me to do so, and making me feel poured into as a leader as well. “Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you encounter various trials” James 1:2 This may sound a little different, but I hope you recognize it. What a special group of people!! I find myself counting blessings whenever they are around.

Lake day was amazing, even though the lake hair might not have been the best look for me….

How grateful am I for Kinlee and Abella!! They are both such amazing people, and always a joy to be around.

Kinlee is such a special person to be around!! She always points everything towards God, and cares for the Lord so much!! She also is not afraid to be passionate about the things she cares about… whether it’s her friends, cheese or diet coke!!

Ashley has been my day 1 at Baylor!! She always has been there for me, and never makes me feel like I am too much for her. She never hesitates to help others, lift others up, and make them laugh. I literally don’t know how I could imagine how my Baylor experience would have gone if I didn’t have her there to help me get through it.

Savannah is such a light for anyone who is blessed enough to get to know her! She is a ray of sunshine in everyone’s lives, and shines God’s light so well!!

Madison is so amazing to be around!! It’s fun hearing her Noah Kahan rankings, or any jokes she may have. So grateful she was with us on this trip!!!

Abella is such an amazing leader, and does an amazing job being both a friend and a leader to those she is in charge of!She is also hilarious, and never fails to shine light unto others!!

Madison J is soso cool!! Guys she just hit 200 ELO on chess, and she will continue to climb!! She is an amazing person, and has a calming presence but is also hilarious. She also has such a care for the Lord!! So lucky to have her in my life!!

Don’t even get me STARTED on how amazing Caroline is. In a short time,she has become one of my best friends and she has proven how amazing and beautifully made in the eyes of the Lord she is time and time again. She is the most selfless person I know, willing to sacrifice and take care of others at the drop of a hat. She has such a kind heart, and makes people feel seen so easily. She is an amazing listener, and so fun to be around!! There’s so much more I could say about her, but I’ll stop there🤣

Get ready for another long Caption. In John, when Jesus is talking to His disciples, he tells them, “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (John 14:12-14). This passage really came to fruition when I cam to Baylor. I truly started buying in to what the Lord had in store for me, and I’m seeing the fruit from it! At first, when I first got to Baylor, the only other people I knew were the people I met at Line Camp, praise the Lord for them! Other than them, I was alone at Baylor and didn’t really know anyone. I continued to ask God to put good friends in my life. And let me tell you, he answered that prayer to an astounding degree. I met so many amazing people, even later on in this semester! I hope that anyone here can meet someone who is as thoughtful as Laurel, as empathetic as Presley, as appreciative as Noah, as wise as Cooper, as God-loving as Katelynn or many, many others everyone on this list really, as caring as Timmy, as welcoming as Miraj, as Nonchalant as Derek, as helpful as Karyn, as willing as Alexa, as uplifting as Adam, someone who loves cheese as much as Kinlee,someone who loves dutch bros as much as Gracie, who is always as helpful as Ainsley, who’s as much of a ray of sunshine as Savannah, as smart as Sam, as funny as Andrew, who loves sports as much as Caleb, as adventurous as Isaiah, and so, SO much more. As you can see, I am so blessed by the people who God put in my life(so sorry if you didn’t get a tag or a shoutout, I promise you’re still awesome) In Proverbs 27:17, it says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” It’s safe to say that I’m the sharpest I’ve ever been. Getting sentimental now, can’t wait for the future God has planned with these people!! by @charris4142

VERY late, but here’s the 2025 post! I am so blessed and grateful for such an amazing year and the amazing people that came with it. I started out thinking I might be a sports broadcaster, and ended it knowing God was calling me to be a pastor! To Texas High Football: Thank you for the lessons you’ve taught me. Thank you for the brothers I got to meet along the way. Thank you for such an amazing season.
