A tribute to my best friend

Omi, I dreaded this day for the past 18 years of my life, you are the best grandma I could have ever asked for. You never failed to make me smile and laugh no matter what. I thank you for teaching me at a young age, to always believe in god and trust his plan. Every Sunday of my childhood I would come over to your house and you would cook food for max and I, even when you didn’t feel like it. You always made the world a better place, and left a mark on every person you met. You taught me the true meaning of kindness and resilience through hard times. I prayed for you to live to the day where you see my future kids, but god works in mysterious ways and everything happens for a reason. I hate knowing that I have to accept the fact that I will now live every day of my life without you in it. I know you will continue to guide me from heaven. I hope you’re having the best time with dexter, grandpa and your mother up there and blasting your opera music. I will miss you calling me on my birthday and singing happy birthday to me every single birthday since I can remember. Thank you for giving me the best childhood I can ask for and simply making this world a better place. I wish I can give you one last hug , i’ll never be able to get over this. Everything I do from now on will be for you, I love you so much, rest in peace.❤️ by @chase.riccelli
