The story of the Paper Bears is now streaming on Prime Video and Apple TV in North America! Sit back, relax and enjoy this coming-of-age story amidst Florida’s natural wonders. This mixed-media film, directed by Arix Zalace, carries a pinch of Chase a Cloud magic in its nearly 30-min long animated segment, directed by our very own @alexandraproynova. Scored by our partner in crime @strezov and brought to life by our international team of talented artists and collaborators. This one is truly a feat of independent filmmaking, fit for the books! On the animation side, we leaned into frame-by-frame 2D character animation, enhanced through our custom hybrid 2D–3D pipeline. This approach allowed us to preserve the looseness and spontaneity of traditional animation while introducing the depth and camera movement, often associated with contemporary workflows. We had the pleasure of creating another trailer for the ever so popular co-op game Mimesis! Our friends over at ReLU Games trusted us to put our original spin on their IP to announce the big June update, filled with all sorts of goodies for the game’s active community. We had great fun working on this and an added bonus was getting to play, record and voice the new build. We had the honor and privilege to animate the work of Ian Flynn, Adam Bryce Thomas and the rest of the amazing team behind the DC x Sonic the Hedgehog series. Using the final ready for print artwork, we painstakingly cut, drew over and animated over 25 mins of animation, bringing the comics to life. Powerful screen grabs from the full spot. Which one is your fave? Suspended in time, the Chrono Child carefully calculates her next move. Each version or build of the Chrono Child carried its own challenge in the design phase. We love how distinct each color palette is and we did our best to incorporate it into the final design.
