Fourteen years ago I started this with a backpack full of shades and $2,000 borrowed from my roommate Nick.⁣ ⁣ Fourteen years later, I’m walking away.⁣ ⁣ Not because I stopped loving Blenders, but because I loved it too much for too long, and it almost took me out. 2024 nearly broke me. I said that on slide 15, and I meant it. Building something this big costs you pieces of yourself you don’t always get back. ⁣ To Nick, who bet on me before anyone else would. ⁣ ⁣ To Blake, who was in the trenches before any of this was real. ⁣ ⁣ To every team member who walked through the doors of Blenderville and gave this thing a piece of themselves. To Safilo, who bet on us. On me. Who believed a loud little San Diego brand belonged on a global stage. I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity and proud of what we built together. ⁣ ⁣ And to every person who ever rocked a pair, THANK YOU. You didn’t just buy shades. You helped a surfer kid my grandpa nicknamed ‘Muy Loco’ build something bigger than the doubts he had about himself.⁣ ⁣ My mom always told me life’s better with options. Today we officially drop Season III with Coach Prime. Hard to explain what this partnership means to me… it’s my 100 foot wave. The kind of thing you chase your whole career.⁣ ⁣ It all started 4 years ago with texts from my dad. “Chase, check out what Coach Prime’s doing, you gotta reach out to him.” Those texts sparked something that has turned into one of the most iconic partnerships to ever hit the net.⁣ ⁣ Season I we broke the internet. It was a black swan event. Something so rare and special it is impossible to recreate. The question became, how do we follow that?⁣ ⁣ The answer is you don’t chase the past. You build forward. Season II proved this partnership had staying power. And Season III is proof that lightning can strike again when you stay locked in.⁣ ⁣ This year was not easy. Factory reroutes. Tariff chaos. A lot of change at Blenders. And for Prime, his own battles on the health side. But through it all, this was our bullseye. The thing we aimed at when everything else felt like noise.⁣ ⁣ Designing this style tested us. It pushed us. It reminded me why I love doing this. It is not just about sunglasses. It is about chasing ideas so bold they scare you and creating moments you will tell your kids about someday.⁣ ⁣ Season III is not just a release.
