Hello hi, and Happy Halloween to you. I realized that I show a picture of myself about once every two or three years, so here’s a batch of them while I’m in the mental space to appease my extroverted side. 🤷🏻‍♂️ IDK. Felt like showing up to the party today. ❤️ I don’t leave the house much, and the internet is definitely my social space. 👋 hope you’re well!

4) A bunch of muscles I got through working out a lot when I got addicted to the gym and gave up recreational sugar. This was the best phase for me, but it got derailed this summer when things got bad with my mom’s health. Letting this be my inspiration to get back at it. I do really great with routine when I’m in it, but man it gets so difficult to return to it when something disrupts it. Any of you guys go to the gym and do gym things? If so, what do you listen to? Mostly I was listening to Trapped Under Ice, Angel Dust, Speed, End It or French Drill during the heaviest phase. My neurodivergent mind can really listen to things on loop for a long time. A really long time. Ive been listening to Red’s album on loop for a few months. Anyway, it’s been fun hanging out. Thanks! 😊 ❤️👋

Hello, hi! Hellllllo!
Sorry, I’ve been out of contact with most people since around February. It’s been a really rough year. My mother got sick and had an emergency surgery. That turned into a really difficult time for all of us. I spent almost half the year in the states, helping out. Then in August I got diagnosed ASD on top of ADHD, which has honestly been a lot to process. It’s a strange thing, changed my perspective on my whole life. So to all the people who ever asked “what the hell is wrong with you?” There’s a start 🤷🏻‍♂️

It can be really difficult for me to split my mind between things, so I usually stay in a hyperfocus on whatever it is I’m doing. So sometimes I just disappear from here for long spells. I can honestly say I’m doing the best I can to juggle life, but I don’t know that I’ve ever not felt behind.

Ok, on to happier things.

Here’s a photo of Red and me from Mexico, right before everything went down. It was so beautiful there.

As for beauty, it’s Red’s birthday! AND Red’s release day for her album! I’ve been doing a ton of short video work for it, so I’ll be posting stuff from that.

And we just had our 6 year wedding anniversary! How wild is that? I love you so much @redrosamond

Hello 👋 Happy Sunday and happy new year to you. We made it to the future. It’s 2024. Red is getting ready to put out a new album. We are working on the assets for all of that, so I’ll be switching focus back to videos and photo.

For now, here’s a group of photos of @toomworld stuff. I love doing all of the TOOM covers. I love making these things and sending them off around the world, and I love evolving through different color-ways, landing in spaces I would have never gotten to otherwise. I’ve met some of the best people, and have had a lot of fun. Looking forward to seeing where this stuff goes when I can get fully back to it.

The Bug City Boot Bugs is going to go to @aloneinakil who recently made my day by posting Judge Dread’s “Bring Back The Skins”. Had to make him some Oi! Bugs for that. Stoked to have made friends with him last year. Absolute badass of a human!
And while we are at it, so glad I got to see @baltimorespatrickmartin last year as well! It’s been too long! Was great getting out of the house and seeing a show. Shout out to @colinsalter_ for coming with us.

That photo of @jurtice with his Thug Bugs cover is one of my favorite things from last year as well. Man. So happy to have made friends with Justice. Absolutely brilliant man! The closest thing we have to a real life Cimmerian. Look for that full size sticker of him in the Hampden skate park.

Anyway, where was I… just thinking of last years highlights I guess. I’m sitting here listening to Red work on the last song of her album while I write this. If you watch “Fool Me Once” look for her song in the opening title sequence of each episode. Also, she has a song in the new True Detective season :) shout out to👉 @redrosamond! So now we are working on getting her new album out this year. It’s so damn good!!! I’m really excited for it. The first single should be in the spring.

Last photo is just some Savage Swords that I picked up recently. Conan is king.

Usually when I’m in a creative space, I’m in a pretty serious state of ADHD hyperfocus. It’s like the vault door opens and you have to get everything you can through it until it closes. Here’s a Hardcore Set of Thug Bugs covers with a focus on Baltimore. I’ve lived in ten states and two countries, and Baltimore is pretty much the closest I’ll ever have to a home town. @enditbaltimore are Incredible! @aloneinakil is a champion! And I have had many, many an adventure with the legendary @baltimorespatrickmartin What an amazing band 🥵🥵🥵. @tuitillidie are also brilliant and been on repeat at the gym. @jurtice is a king. Dude is ICONIC and it doesn’t get more powerful than that. Had fun making these, and I have fun with all the TOOM stuff. I hit that wall with photography, so I’m just grateful to have a creative outlet that brings me some joy. Fun is king! @toomworld by @chaselisbon

Don’t know if you’re the type of person who likes fun things like imaginary comic books that really only have the covers, psycho ducks that should be put to death, hybrid biomechanical warriors built in underground labs, armed dolphins with arms, wizards and kings and swords and sorcery and the likes, but if you are, check out all the things I’ve been doing at @toomworld! Enough run-on sentences and imaginary comic books for everyone. It’s been the most fun creative thing that I’ve done in a long time, so if you like things like “joy”, come through. We give away original art every month, so it’s free and easy to collect. 😊 We will be giving this one away next week. :)

Escape From Gore Complex #1 cover C. I draw covers for imaginary comics and give one away every week over at @swordsandsnakes. I gave up on this world and started making my own. It’s been a great time, because the only people who hang out there are people who are looking for fun and a litte bit of joy. It’s harder and harder to find that on the internet these days. Owning an imaginary comic book company has been the most fun and rewarding thing I have done in years. If you are interested in fun and imagination and dungeons and dolphins and battle babies and following the Sword of Hades as it changes hands from wizards to warriors to ghouls to goblins, then find me at @swordsandsnakes. I just haven’t been doing much photography lately. Earth can be heavy, but there is happiness around if you chose to give power to what brings you joy. I just feel like I got lost for a long time, in ambition and drive and ego and so much of the human on Earth challenge, and lately I’ve found my way back to some of the things that really made me happy to be on Earth. Basically, I’m at a point where I’m happy to be happy and I’m not going to let any low frequency base feelings stop me from having some joy while I’m here. Oh, and I’m giving one of these away every Tuesday :)
