Life threw me a fantastic curve ball out of nowhere, I’m very excited to say I’ll be animating on the production of TMNT Mutant Mayhem 2 at Mikros Animation 😵‍💫❤️🐢 by @chaser_animation

Further key frame exploration for my horror film.

I think… I might start calling myself a painter as well as animator… almost 🤨

He’s more than just a villain of the week ⚫
Found this fun rig of The Spot that I wanted to explore this week, and it was a lot of fun to play with!

Been really enjoying doing short test animations like these. It feels like drawing in my sketchbook.
More to come 🙏

Found an incomplete Snoopy Halloween test I was building last year in my drives that I realized I never finished, maybe I will soon... maybe I won’t?

I don’t know I’m busy, thought I’d post the wip anyways 😅 by @chaser_animation

Blocking update for my TMNT sequence.

My schedule is going to be very unforgiving with higher priority projects I’ve been working on, so finding time to cleanup and finish this will be hard. But it feels good to get a jump start on the new years demo reel updates early 🙂

Japan photo dump 01:
Recently took a sketching workshop in Kyoto/Osaka Japan run by @jackiedroujko a few days ago, and my mind was thoroughly blown 💙. The sightseeing was mind boggling, the lessons I learned insanely insightful, and the friends I made were just too darn good 🤙

There was something so peaceful about trying to capture who/what I saw in my sketchbook.
The traveling artist bug has bit me hard, I gotta go sketch more people and places asap ☠️

I wanted to try animating a more romance driven acting shot on 2's, which is something I don't get to do very often in my day to day work.

I definitely uncovered a lot of frustrating shortcomings in my workflow throughout building this shot, but am glad for this as I now feel better prepared for my next piece.

You can't imagine the levels of cringe I felt filming reference for this by myself ☠️

Many thanks for the amazing rigs by: @rarmango
