The past year has been filled with blessings, some indescribable, but the gift of seeing God's love and light in all things has been the greatest. I once let negativity consume me, but God's grace saved me.

In the darkest moments of your life, know this: God is still there. He will be your light if you let Him… This isn’t my full story to tell, but I can say this— I witnessed someone battle between life and death. Under these devastating and unexpected circumstances God revealed Himself to not only me but that entire hospital room. He was the light in the dark and saved the soul of someone I truly thought was gone.

I remember sitting in the ICU during one of the hardest moments of my life. I wasn’t going to church. I wasn’t living “right.” Honestly, I often cursed God. But all I could do in that moment was pray.

And even then—even when I doubted Him—He showed up. He answered my prayers and revealed the power of His grace.

Instead of spiraling like I normally would, I gave my life to the Lord.
Things didn’t suddenly get easier—trust me—but He blessed me with the ability to see and understand that He can turn what’s bad into something good. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I wouldn’t take away any of the pain, because it led me to the deep joy and gratitude I have for my life today.
The Lord has blessed me with an incredibly supportive family and the most beautiful friends—inside and out—that I could ever ask for.

I pray that this next year, the Lord continues to unravel me, shape me, and help me grow so I can walk more like Him.
